plural nature of sheogorath is still not widely known in universe even by 14th era , but these get to be sheogorath pronouns now , in addition to singular forms .

want to draw modern style thaliendir with rollator and AAC device , even though would definitely prefer sign . truth is not many talkies care to learn even minimum amount of sign - would rather not have to put in effort and just listen to device , even if nonverbal person much prefer sign .

unfortunately have no steam to draw right now so will just have to imagine really , really hard . ooooohh beam directly into brain . some obscure band t-shirt . shiny green rollator with custom backrest cover and lots of little dangly decorations . AAC device with really pretty case strapped over shoulder . pride kandi . beautiful :)

this is thaliendir , player character in the elder scrolls oblivion . thaliendir is not really conventional kind of plural , as essentially singlet who then subsume into plural collective ... but elder scrolls lore is weird enough already , so no one can say impossible :P

sheogorath is daedric prince of madness and arts , effectively patron deity of these domains . however , sheogorath used to be known as jyggalag , daedric prince of order - legends say that other daedric princes , out of fear for power jyggalag hold , curse jyggalag to become sheogorath . only once every 1000 years would sheogorath regain clarity of jyggalag , able to storm palace and reclaim land of shivering isles under domain of order , but sheogorath would always return .

... so in some way , sheogorath and jyggalag kind of already plural in canon ?

anyway , kossai choose to expand on this and also put some concrete numbers . every 1000-year era , after sheogorath return , sheogorath would be quite different - different appearance , different mannerisms , but still sheogorath . each prior iteration still live within , but only newest one will be in control .

enter 12th era iteration of sheogorath , seen through oblivion's shivering isles DLC . this sheogorath can be rather foul-tempered and impatient due to failures of eras past , but finally have wondrous idea to put end to jyggalag's greymarch : find mortal champion to take symbols and title of sheogorath , so that when jyggalag come to storm palace and take over , sheogorath will still be present and able to fight .

thaliendir was that mortal champion , and grow quite close with 12th era sheogorath , lovers really . thaliendir fight for life to keep shivering isles safe , and even with opportunities to run from shivering isles and retain mortality as jyggalag draw nearer , refuse to back down .

so indeed , thaliendir become 13th era sheogorath - and with that , also become part of this collective , plural sheogorath . thaliendir would later self-wed , and bring symbols of internal love into external world . :)

as lovely bonus , after 13th era conclude and collective move into 14th era , something unexpected begin to happen - now without chains of jyggalag to worry about , sheogorath can freely switch . that feel like most poetic way to end cycle - each one now have true freedom !

tes gala 2026 ~ not much to show

so ... yeah , things this year did not work out so well to get near as much in gala as last year . that would be pretty hard show to follow for anyone ! but more than that , just get really busy this year - good kind of busy , but still busy enough that draw have to fall by wayside .

still , look at these lovely ladies ! alara did not exist as character for gala last year , while safya was support character to dhajan's mini story . this year hope to put highlight on these two as couple , but again , time did just not work out very well .

alara is ex-brotherhood assassin , with so many unfortunate pieces of history that just stack onto each other - just so happen to fall under sign of serpent , so maybe not much surprise there . escape from brotherhood leave alara with brain injury , not to mention conflicted feelings about trauma . since injury , alara can be meek and hesitant , and really try not to think too much about things like stars , gods , and destinies .

safya is passionate mycologist and apothecary who live in anvil with brother ex-crusader dhajan , and mother baomi . though act part of optimist , safya know dangers that lurk , and work - sometimes by malicious compliance or false incompetence - to protect loved ones . safya is follower of dibella , and believe that curiosity is one of greatest virtues - there is beautiful side to everything in this world , and curiosity is means to discover .

alara and safya meet by happenstance , as alara feel like presence on streets stalk and stumble into nearest shop to get away . safya hear plight , and really that make history ;D

TES Gala 2026 Update

Results are in for the last poll about changing the date. 54.5% were for it. 42.4% indifferent. So, we'll be changing the date for it. I was floating the idea of late May, so we'll go with that!

New Date: May 24th to the 30th, with the last day Saturday the 30th as a free day (as long as it covers fashion/parties). This gives an extra 3 weeks

If people miss this update and start submitting early, we'll likely be queuing up all the submissions then
