Copia is a Fruit Bat and V is a Vampire Bat.

Why? Because copia is the true “sometimes scary looking but actually just a puppy with wings”

Meanwhile V is a small, little creature that will latch onto you while you sleep and feed off you in the night— and is the one you should be truly worried about.

Before they told us “V” was Copia’s twin (Nihil and Imperator being his parents) there was a delusion part of me that…for a moment, thought he would be Mary’s kid or relative or something, somehow connected.

What if I told you this idea came from binging all the saw movies and while also doing a project on religious art…and what if I told you the Apprentices are a lot like the Angels of Death making John somewhat like God and Hoffman the Fallen Son for choosing to go against the rules and trying to make way on his own.

and what if a told you that I actually started this drawing because I was looking at a mood board on Pinterest and saw a pic of The “Lucifer of Liège” and thought to myself “damn that’d make a good anatomy practice” and then it spiraled (haha get it) into a Hoffman drawing because I wanted to draw him in a collar and chained.
