I'm really freaking out that next year I'm gonna be legally an adult in my area.
I am not grown up enough for that.
whats gonna happen in regards to what house I go to??? my parents have split custody, what if [parental unit a] doesn't want me at their house anymore?
what about taxes??? do I have to do taxes???? its not like I own anything with a separate tax (car tax, house tax, wtv)
and omfg I've fallen a bit behind on one of my school things, I'm gonna have to do like, double (exaggeration) english to graduate on time and I haaaate english i hate writing hate hate hate
does my home school thing even actually count? I mean I've googled it like, 3 times cause Im paranoid and everything says it does but what if all the colleges and jobs hate me for it?
also how am I gonna do a whole job??? I couldn't even get past [middle school grade] before having a major depressive episode and switching to home schooling, which, it was bc of the teachers having beef with me (a child at the time) for no real reason besides "that kids kinda odd" even though they KNEW I had autism so they knew why I was weird and they were just assholes about it anyways and theres no way that job people are gonna be any nicer about it. all the people who have been mean enough for it to actually affect me were full-grown, can-drink-alcohol adults! I am NOT surviving a job without becoming suicidal. hell, [parental unit a] had beef with school people and now is like. such a mess about their job. they're gonna be mad at me if I don't manage a job! I don't want them to stop loving me :/
and what about college? your supposed to specialize. I can't specialize. I have a surface level knowledge about a ton of things, not hyper knowledge in one. currently I wanna do anthropology, I like humans alot, theyre intresting creatures! but like, even if I manage to do that, what would I even do with an anthropology degree?? museum work..? how am I supposed to find a museum that doesn't have stolen shit, huh????

AND! and in the movie version, they're all hand drawn and the photos are mostly the laminated-feeling ones you get from cameras instead of printed out, which is different from the ones following 9/11, where some were printed out

love the idea of the transformers being seen as cryptids in their respective universes. optimus being a ghost truck with no rider cruising down a lonely highway, offering help to those lost on the side of the road. starscream, the phantom f22 with no callsign who won't respond to any radio signals. ratchet as the lone ambulance that isn't registered to any local hospital, but will sometimes rush people to the emergency room without warning. mirage being a porsche without a driver that'll playfully race other drivers on lonely roads, then seemingly vanish into thin air. the potential is incredible.

A Plea from the Heart: I Am Fatima, and This Is My Story
My name is Fatima, a teacher from Gaza. I used to work in a small school I loved dearly, planting hope in the hearts of children and teaching them that tomorrow could be better. But the war took everything away. My school was bombed, I lost my job, and our home was reduced to rubble. Yet, I refused to give up. I set up a small tent amid the destruction and continued teaching children, showing them that knowledge is a light that cannot be extinguished, even in the darkest times.
My husband, Akram, was my partner and pillar of support. But he was severely injured in an attack targeting civilians. His abdominal injuries are so severe that he can no longer work or even lift basic items. Every day, I see the pain in his eyes and feel the weight of helplessness, but I try to stay strong for him and for our children.
Our eldest, Manar, is four years old, and she’s missing out on her childhood amidst this devastation. Our youngest, Ibrahim, was born under bombardment just a year ago. He has suffered greatly due to the lack of milk and proper medical care. Yet, sometimes, he smiles, and in those brief moments, I find the strength to keep going.
We now live in a fragile tent that doesn’t shield us from the cold or rain. Every day is a new battle for survival. I write these words while holding my children’s hands, with nothing left but my faith in God and the hope that your kind hearts will hear our plea.
Please help us provide milk and food for our children, ease Akram’s pain, and rebuild even a small part of the life the war has destroyed. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference in our lives.
