It’s not about the cute texts or “our song” or calling in sick to spend the day together or wedding dates or surprise parties or moving in together. Those are all important, but it’s you pretending to not like my favorite part of the trail mix for two years. It’s when I ask you a stupid question on purpose just so you’ll give me that one look. And it’s when you grab my hand in your sleep. That’s love.
