Welcome to My Elena Gilbert Closet! I have been a fan of The Vampire Diaries ever since I attended my first Creation Entertainment Convention. I was fortunate enough to attend my second in Covington, GA, where The Vampire Diaries was filmed. I have had the opportunity to met several of the actors. I recently have started to collect the clothes Elena wore on the show and have even wore a few of them to conventions. The show has and will always be a big part of me my life so I wanted to create this blog to share with all of you.

Elena Gilbert’s Top (Episode 6x09)

Elena wears this Pins and Needles Lace Mix Tank in Season 6, Episode 6x09 titled “I Alone”. She has on a cardigan over the top so it’s hard to see all the beautiful detail that went into this outfit. To get it to appear the way she wears it in the actual episode I had to slightly modify it by removing the middle panel originally.

The moments between Elena and Damon are some of my favorite in the entire series. When I visited Covington I finally got to step foot inside the Salvatore living room, which is inside the Mystic Mercantile which features a Salvatore living room replica. And thanks to Vampire Stalkers I got to see Elena Gilbert’s house and sit on her porch reliving some of my favorite moments. A small detail I noticed is the swing in the show is brown and in real life it is white. The home is a private residence so the only way to get close enough is to do the Vampire Stalkers Tour which I would highly recommend.

Elena Gilbert’s Top (Episode 5x08)

Elena wore this burgundy long sleeve shirt in Season 5, Episode 5x08 titled “Dead Man on Campus.” This is when her style begins to change when she goes off to college.

I love the interaction between Elena, Bonnie and Caroline. And we get to see Bonnie become the anchor to the other side. The conversation between Elena and Damon is adorable. I’m quite fond of this color and have a large section dedicated to it in my closet. The only thing to keep in mind is the top is very sheer and almost transparent. So I had to wear a cami underneath. It also runs a bit small, the color is absolutely gorgeous.

Elena Gilbert’s Dress (Episode 6x21)

Elena wore this Brandy Gown in Dark Lilac Mauve by Bcbgmaxazria in Season 6, Episode 21 titled “I’ll Wed You In The Golden Summertime”. This by far is one of my favorite episodes but also an incredibly hard one to sit through.

Elena wears this dress to Jo’s wedding and with her last dance with Damon. I love the wedding preparations between Jo, Elena, Bonnie and Caroline. And Elena is finally human again. I absolutely love Stefan and Elena trying to convince Damon not to take the cure and then he ultimately decides to take it anyway because he wants a normal life with Elena. It’s basically a proposal. It was not easy to find but I feel so lucky to have it as part of my iconic collection. The only downside is it runs pretty small and the zipper is difficult to move.

Katherine Pierce’s Dress ( Episode 5x06)

Katherine Pierce wore this Free People Printed Daisy Waist Dress in Season 5, Episode 6 titled “Handle With Care.” Katherine was one of those characters that carried herself with confidence. So no matter what she was wearing she looked good.

The detail in this dress is absolutely stunning. I do love me a delicate floral pattern. One of my favorite things about this dress is the crochet waist. This dress looks very elegant but can be worn almost anywhere. This is currently the only Katherine piece of wardrobe I have in my collection. Her stuff doesn’t seem to be as easy to find so I was excited when I came across this dress.

Elena Gilbert’s Dress (Episode 4x02)

Elena wore this Mariposa lace dress from Anthropologie in Season 4, Episode 2 titled “Memorial”. Here is another example of Elena wearing lace - and honestly who could blame her?

I honestly couldn’t be happier with this dress. The gold accents are absolutely beautiful and I love the buttons on the back. They give it a very unique look and feel. Not to mention the dress has three layers of fabric underneath. So thank you to the seller who was willing to part with this dress. I’m truly honored to have it as part of my collection. The seller was even nice enough to give me the white belt for free with the dress.

Elena Gilbert’s Dress (Episode 4x04)

Happy May everyone! The summer in Texas is starting to heat up and it’s time to bring out those above the knee dresses - just like Elena did in Episode 4, Season 4 titled “The Five”. And let’s not forget the iconic dance scene between Elena and Damon.

It’s the Pins and Needles Strapless Lace Dress. I’m absolutely obsessed with the lace and the length of this dress. I wore this for photo opts and was able to comfortably walk around the square in Covington with no problem. The shirt was something I already had in my closet and very similar to the one Elena wore.

Spencer Hastings also wore this dress in Episode 4, Season 3 titled “Birds Of A Feather”.
