Not very inspired lately. Need to get back to creating different workouts to keep it interesting.
Let’s Ladder
I like a good quick ladder workout because then I can focus on the swim, rather than calculating what’s next. Here’s my go-to when I want to swim and not think:
400 swim warm-up
300 kick: alternate sprint/easy
200 pull
2 x 100 breast: 50 drill (pull every 3 kicks)/50 breast
200 drill: 50 drill, 50 swim
300 kick (I like to kick/need to get back in shape quick)
400 timed: 4x100 descend
200 warm down
Total: 2200 yds; 45 mins

Not Ready for Prime Time: Yoga Edition
Today I tried a new yoga class. I’ve been going once a week and getting better (seriously). I should try another class, right?
WRONG. This guy was way more intense.
At one point I was so out of my league I was silently crying I was laughing at myself rolling around like an upside down turtle.
EVEN THE INSTRUCTOR WAS QUIETLY LAUGHING.
Friday!
If I eat a bag of m and ms the size of my head, but start whole 30 tomorrow, is that a good plan?
Thursday
Today was better, then I ate all night.
Sigh.
Wednesday Highs and Lows
High: I went to yoga today at lunchtime and loved it! It was in a beautiful studio and everyone was so vibrant and fit- and I could keep up with the workout! I felt great after!
Low: I felt great for about an hour after. Then I went back into my funk.
Is there no such thing as a quick fix anymore?? (Just kidding. Of course there isn’t.)
I am in such a slump and it’s so hard to get out! Any tips? I just feel so sluggish and cranky and huge.
Thursday & Friday - check!
I did have the frosting off of cake Thursday, but that's progress and I really have done good not snacking at work.
Monday and Tuesday Updates
I don't want to work out I just want to eat muffins for two days,
I made it through the winter!! Finally maybe I won't feel like I'm dying. I think I might need to move to California. Can't do this every year.
Thursday Update
The scale at the gym was missing yesterday so I thought I was free. Today it was back to tell me I gained weight.
