And here’s my second contribution to the Minisode Minibang! This is still somewhat of a WIP…I’m not happy with some parts of the piece, so I’ll likely post a revised version in the near future. For this one, I worked with my amazing author Snowfilly1! The story they wrote is so vivid, I feel like this art still doesn’t do it justice! I’ll link it below, go read it!! Right now!

Idolaters - In the Dark

- Stop playing with shiny toys, darling, they were never meant for you: starlight, sunlight, heaven's light... your eyes were not made for such bright things. Don't worry, dear. That little angel almost made you soft, but he's gone now. You'll be one of us again. Unforgivable, remember? That's what you are. One of the bad guys.

What? Is that Satan himself speaking? Where is this series going? But most importantly: did I draw all the things I intended to draw this time? We'll see in a few hours when I look at it again and realize that I missed half the drawing.

The first moment of splendor

I made this one based on the first scene of season 2 and this made me believe that Aziraphale fell in love the moment he met Crowley while Crowley at this point was just full of awe and wonder as he created the galaxy. I noticed that Az somehow copied some of Crowley’s manerism, just bubly and cheerful, or perhaps the wing cover later, back in season 1, was Aziraphale returning Crowley’s kind gesture at the very beginning, this moment.

In any case i love love love it, soooo many good moments in this season. What are your thoughts?

I created a 3D model and floor plan of Aziraphale’s bookshop in Good Omens!

I really wanted one for reference and it seemed like many others did too, so I put together my best approximation of where everything is. Beneath the color version, you’ll see I’ve included two simplified, labeled versions of the plan. The verbal labels are so you know what the object is. The numerical labels are there to make it easy to find more information about the object. I’ve put a numbered index below the cut that features the relevant reference images I used for each object and some more information about why I put it where I did/why it’s relevant/etc. I want to be very clear that I did not add anything to this from my own imagination; every single item and feature represents something I actually saw in the shop.

If you have any questions or want more information about this, PLEASE do not hesitate to ask! I put so much time into figuring it out and I would be more than happy to be a resource for anyone who needs it. Also, if you notice any errors, let me know and I’ll update the post. I hope this is helpful!
