Every year May is when my to do list overwhelms my schedule every day.

In this waking dream, i awoke much earlier.

It is a fascinating time to study how — when, why or if —  humans change their minds.

Watching 2 or 3 large bats swoop around outside my window — first that i've seen here this Spring — just as stars begin to dot the dark blue sky.

in my dream...

We are breaking camp, in fair weather.

It is remarkable how the same humans seeing themselves superior to all other life are mostly governed by fears and lusts.

[mykl]

Today's experiment in foraging for fresh produce + lazy cooking?  A mediocre store-bought pizza topped with just harvested ramps and bittercress.

A delicious dinner squeezed into an hour between chores.

I think the pinch of salt sprinkled on the slivered ramps really made this Allium pop.  Short on time today, i was conservative with both these green toppings; next time i'll try doubling the amount.
