seeing the chance of rain on his phone already made him nervous. he knew he didn't want to take risks with you but you guys had planned this picnic for days already.
when it started to rain down on you guys he laughed to help calm you down. he'd take his jacket off and throw it over your head.
he'd start picking things up and hurry you to the car but as soon as he heard the thunder he knew it was way too late.
he may be soaked from the rain, but he's jumping into the drivers sear next to you with a big calm smile as he looked into your big worried eyes.
deep in him we was extremely worried but he couldn't let you see that, quickly he starts playing one of your favorite songs and turning it up really loud.
he'd ruffle your hair and sing loudly, chuckling in between lyrics until you start singing with him forgetting about the flashes of light and roars of thunder outside.
"feeling better baby? it'll be over soon okay? lets just keep singing."

he was completely caught off guard when you both walked out of the mall and the sky was a dark grey.
you guys didnt go out to shop often since everything was online but, you managed to pull your little hermit out of his dorm.
in his mind, soobin hoped it was just a little rain you both could walk through, considering he has brought an umbrella for the both of you to share.
but, to his dismay he heard the rumble in the sky, quickly he would put his hands over your ears and pick up the pase of his walking.
he'd whisper sweet things into your covered ears as you walked to try and get you home as quickly as possible. it would break his heart seeing how you freak out after every bright flash or loud thud.
once he finally got you home he would sit you on the floor of your apartment and hold you until the storm had passed.
"it's okay love, you're okay. i'm right here with you. nothing can hurt you now."

your boyfriend was a clown, he would do anything and everything to make you happy so after putting on an extravagant show for you while making ramen (that caused him to burn himself twice) he realized how dark the sky outside had gotten
naturally, he would try to distract you from the grey clouds knowing that your fear would get worse if you got in your head about it.
once the thunder and lighting started, beomgyu chose to play super man and tie a blanket around his neck to make the fabric look like a cape. he'd hurry over and shield your eyes from the flashes coming through the window only to whisk you away to the bathroom.
he'd sit you down, pet your hair and smile softly at your tear ridden eyes. he couldn't show you how worried he was because he knew it would only worry you more.
he'd put headphones over your ears and bop to the music he had blasting with you. distracting you from the storm outside.
from time to time he'd lean over and give you kisses, until you're whining for him to stop leaving loud slobbery kisses all over your face and he's just happy that he's managed to distract you.
"don't push me away! i'm trying to love on you scaredy cat~"

no matter how much taehyun planned this beautiful fancy dinner under the stars, he should have known something was up when he looked up and saw no stars not even the moon.
he swore up and down that he checked the weather, but of course he couldn't help but awkwardly chuckle when the first couple drops of water came down. you were adaptable, as long as it was a light rain you didn't mind! better for the both of you since your fancy outfits were quite hot.
it wasn't until he saw lighting in the distance behind you, that he thought it was time to call it a night. quickly, he paid for the food and ran you to his car. you knew what was coming and you were thankful he was prepared to go home. it was better you go through this at home rather than anywhere else.
he would reach over and hold your hand, kissing it gently knowing the storm would get worse. just as you got out of the car and made it into the lobby of the apartment building, a loud crash of thunder that shook the building came out.
taehyun knew you were scared, he hated seeing that tear filled look on your face so as soon as possible he moved you to the building's stairwell. no windows, and the sound from outside was a bit more muffled.
he'd sit you down on a step and sit next to you, hugging and talking until the storm clears up enough to go up to your shared apartment without you in fear.
"there we go babe, you're doing so well.. im so proud of you."

kai wanted to take you out on a weekend trip out camping. he used to go camping with his family all the time so he of course wanted to take you.
little did he know that tonight was going to be a big storm, internally he was freaking out because what kind of terrible boyfriend takes their partner who is very afraid of thunder and lighting out in the middle of a storm.
luckily you both were camping in an rv, so it wasn't too bad at first but the second he heard the faint cracks of thunder in the sky, he threw a blamket over your head and got under it with you.
he'd hold you close and per your hair with one hand while the other held a flashlight. he probably pulls a plush onto your lap so you can squeeze it a bit better.
to try and help he would count how many seconds were in between each lighting strike and the sound of thunder to better prepare you for the loud sounds. you would probably feel his heart beating fast despite how much he tried to hide his own worries.
"you're okay, we're okay... im right here for you."
