Usually, on a Thursday night, you'd be in bed by eight, reading a good romance novel and already drifting off to sleep by nine, ready to wake up for work the next day. The routine was mundane, but it was something you desperately needed after a draining week of school to keep yourself sane.

But last week was different.

At eight o’clock that Thursday night, you weren’t tucked into bed reading about dragon shifters and elven lovers destined to live happily ever after. Instead, you were standing in your parents' empty house, red Solo cup in hand, waiting for guests to trickle into your end-of-year party.

You weren’t the party type—and never had been. Throughout your two years at university, you’d been invited to plenty of parties but always managed to come up with an excuse not to go. It wasn’t about the hosts or their guests; you just preferred your own company. And there was nothing wrong with that.

So what changed? What made the happily solitary bookworm suddenly ditch the novels to throw a house party while their parents were away on a short vacation?

That’s exactly what went through all your close friends’ minds when they got your text inviting them over—and encouraging them to spread the word.

You’d never admit the real reason you threw that party. In fact, it was something you swore you'd take to your grave. You offered different explanations when asked, your most-used one being, “We should celebrate the end of the semester.” But deep down, you knew your friends weren’t fully convinced.

The real reason?

Jake.

Sim Jake. The upperclassman social butterfly you'd been dying to talk to for the past year.

Ever since you first saw him in the back row of your world history lecture, you couldn’t stop thinking about him—his sweet smile, gentle eyes, perfectly tousled hair, and soft laugh that you occasionally heard from that back corner. It drove you crazy. But you were always too shy to approach him. He seemed effortlessly friendly with everyone, and that only made him more intimidating. You never managed to say a single word to him in the five months you shared that class.

And as if to torment you, you started seeing him everywhere on campus, even after the new semester began. It was like the universe had placed Jake in your path just to mock your shyness. But he’d never know you existed unless you made yourself known.

So you threw a party.

Jake loved parties. You’d overheard him saying so to his friends once. And if invited, he almost always showed up. Was it a little pathetic? Maybe. But you would never admit he was the true reason you found yourself sitting on the couch at 8 p.m. on a Thursday night, watching your friends arrive for what was supposedly just a casual get-together.

Your friend group wasn’t huge—five people at most—but they never let you down. You gave them a time and place, and they showed up, some even bringing partners, roommates, or siblings to help fill the space. You were grateful. Still, you couldn’t stop glancing at the front door, hoping Jake would walk in.

Nine passed. Then ten. You didn’t really know when people usually showed up to parties, but the clock ticking only made you more anxious.

"You seem tense," Sunoo noted, concern creasing his brow. “Are you... alright?”

Kim Sunoo had been your best friend since your first year. Wherever you were, he wasn’t far behind. He was also the only one who knew about your little obsession with Jake—and fortunately, Sunoo actually knew him pretty well.

"Yeah, sorry. I'm okay," you sighed, mixing yourself a drink in the kitchen. You weren’t much of a drinker, but you needed something to take the edge off.

"Waiting on someone?" he asked, a knowing, playful smile tugging at his lips.

"What?—No, no... I just thought more people would come. This is kind of a lame excuse for a party," you mumbled, clutching your cup.

Sunoo rolled his eyes and shook his head. "It's early. People will come, I promise."

Then he disappeared back into the crowd, leaving you alone with your thoughts.

What if word hadn’t reached Jake? What if he didn’t even know this party existed? Maybe you should’ve just talked to him instead of orchestrating this elaborate plan.

You kept drinking to quiet your spiraling thoughts. A rum and Coke here and there wouldn’t kill you—until the rum ran out. Then you switched to vodka. Then white wine. By 11:30 p.m., your house was packed with students dancing, drinking, smoking—and there you were, too, caught in the chaos, trying to lose yourself in the music.

That’s when you saw him.

The guy you’d tried to drink out of your system walked through the front door with his signature sweet smile. "Jake," you muttered to yourself as he greeted his friends.

Your stomach churned. In hindsight, it was probably just nerves, but at the time you blamed the alcohol. You wanted to talk to him—desperately—but your feet felt like they were glued to the floor. And then you saw her.

A petite brunette practically glued to his arm.

He introduced her around, grinning proudly each time someone said hello or struck up a conversation with her. You felt your heart sink. All of this—for nothing. Though you didn’t say it out loud, the pang in your chest was impossible to ignore.

It was obvious to Sunoo and the others what the night had really been about. You felt embarrassed, even foolish. And really, you had no one to blame but yourself. You'd built up an imaginary version of Jake based on a few glimpses and a semester-long crush.

Of course he had a girlfriend. Why hadn’t you considered that?

The wave of humiliation hit you like a freight train. You felt like everyone was watching, laughing, even if they weren’t. So you walked out into the quieter backyard and collapsed into a lawn chair, head in your hands.

Sober, you might’ve brushed it off. But drunk, with emotions running high? You couldn’t stop yourself from spiraling. You threw a party for a guy who didn’t even know your name. Worse, for someone who might never be interested in you at all.

Pathetic. “Pick me” behavior. That’s what your mind screamed as you sat there, fighting tears like a 12-year-old who’d just been rejected for the first time.

"Hey, you alright?" a soft voice asked behind you.

"I'm perfectly fine," you snapped, annoyed and clearly not in the mood.

The voice chuckled gently, and you heard the creak of a chair beside you. “Ouch.”

The voice was familiar—light, airy, laced with an Australian twang.

"I'm not having the best time either, y’know," he added with a chuckle.

You finally looked up—and there he was. Jake. Sitting beside you with a soft smile.

This wasn’t fair. You looked like a wreck—puffy eyes, messy hair, and reeking of vodka—while he sat there looking absolutely perfect.

"I doubt that. I'm having the worst night of my life," you muttered, leaning back in your seat with a huff.

"You wanna talk about it?" he asked, tilting his head like a curious golden retriever.

It was too cute. So cute, you groaned and covered your face again.

"You don’t even know my name. Why the hell would I say anything to you?"

Jake just laughed.

"What makes you think that?" he asked, turning his chair to face you.

You scoffed. "Because I’ve been too scared to talk to you! Ugh!"

You pulled your hands through your hair in frustration and then... you exploded.

"I—God, I hate parties! I hate drinking—this shouldn’t be happening! I threw this stupid party hoping Sunoo or someone would invite you! It’s so pathetic and weird! I’m a freak! And it doesn’t even matter because you brought your girlfriend, so I did all this for nothing because I’m a goddamn idiot! Of course the world works like that. I’m insane to think a party and some gross drinks would give me the guts to talk to you. I thought this was my l—"

"She’s not my girlfriend."

"...Huh?"

"She’s not my girlfriend. She’s my cousin."

Your face turned bright red. You looked down at the ground, trying to compose yourself.

"Her name’s Laura. She just started at uni, and I promised I’d help her meet people."

You exhaled a breath of sheer embarrassment. "I’m sorry," you mumbled.

He caught your apology but didn’t say anything right away.

Then, after a beat: "Did you really throw this party just to talk to me?"

You groaned and nodded. "Yeah. And I’m drunk as hell, so don’t say anything mean or I’ll cry."

Jake chuckled. “I wasn’t going to. I think it’s kinda sweet.”

Then he added, "And I do know your name. It’s Y/N. We took World History together—you did that presentation on Greece.”

Your eyes widened.

You’d thought he never even noticed you. But he had. More than you realized.

"That presentation was a mess," you muttered.

"I liked it. It’s just scary giving presentations, especially if you’re shy."

You tilted your head in surprise.

"I might be wrong," he said, “but a few times, it looked like you were gonna say something to me—but you kept walking. I figured you were just shy.”

He paused.

"I can be a lot. I didn’t want to catch you off guard, but every time, I kinda hoped you’d say something.”

Your jaw practically dropped. "No way..."

"Yes way."

He smiled.

“When Sunoo told me you were throwing a party, I knew I had to come.”

You blinked at him, dumbfounded. Before you could stop yourself, you blurted out, “We should go out sometime... if you want—I mean, we don’t have to, and you might be busy—"

"Are you asking me on a date?" Jake interrupted with a grin.

You nodded.

"I’d like that a lot,” he said. “If you’re free tomorrow, I know a great pizza place.”

"Really?" you asked, still unsure if this was real life.

"Yeah, really. Though, let’s be honest—you probably won’t remember much of this tomorrow," he laughed. “It’s alright though. I’ll just have to ask you out in the morning.”

And he did.

Not only did Jake stay late to help clean up the mess, but he showed up early the next morning—armed with Gatorade, aspirin, and a second chance to keep his promise.

look guys. i'm a proud sunghoon girl but i had so many ideas when writing this... jay is literally husband material. i would write about it all day.

- when jay likes someone, he tries so hard not to make it extremely obvious. but unfortunately it is so painfully obvious. after a while he drops the cool guy act because he realizes he won't be getting anywhere with you trying to hide his feelings. instead he musters up the courage to ask you out properly.

- your first date would be somewhere out in the open like a park or close to a river, where he could set up a picnic with home cooked food he spend hours working on just for you. he knows how to make someone feel so special.

- it might be a little awkward at first but part of the awkwardness makes you both laugh, leading to both of you talking for hours probably not realizing the sun had gone down and the food was long gone.

- jay probably asks you to be his partner about 2 weeks after your first date. he doesn't exactly move fast but he also wouldn't ask someone on a date if he wasn't at least 90% sure they were worth it.

- he looks scarier than he truly is. for some reason something about you makes his walls go down, opening himself to affection and being very cute and gentle with you.

- but don't get him wrong. he's extremely protective and some what jealous. he often watches over you ensure you're alright. he doesn't hover but would definitely enjoy scaring weird men away from trying to hit on you.

- however, he's putty in your hands. you know the saying thats like "no one would ever put up with that princess behavior of yours"? well, he would. anything you asked for you got, and a simple pout would make him fold instantly.

- he doesn't mind carrying you after going out because your shoes are uncomfortable, or giving you his jacket when your cold... or even holding your purse or shopping bags when they get too heavy.

- if you haven't already connected the dots, his love languages are very obviously words of affirmation and acts of service.

- he'd obviously cook for you to try and impress you all of the time. sometimes he pulls you into the kitchen to teach you how to make simple meals when for when he's not around.

- while on a phone call with him he would hate to hang up. he'd rather fall asleep on the phone then hang up early. when you try and cut the call short he gets pouty and pretends to be upset with you.

- jay primarily goes shopping for you.. he gets you anything and everything expensive, even after you yell at him for spending so much money on you. but he doesn't care he loves to spoil you.

- you'll notice that he's gotten a good idea of your style and things you like after only a couple months of dating so, when he does gift you things. they're always things you've always wanted to buy for yourself but couldn't. he's making sure you have the wardrobe you've always wanted.

- he is always checking you out, his eyes always say it all. it's hard for him to hide the love and admiration he has for you.

- dispite how possessive he can be, he respects you enough to say that he has no control over who you can or can't hang out with. he would however express his discomfort. whatever you do with that infromation is on you.

- with this being said arguments arent something that would be extremely often between you to but in his eyes all relationships have disagreements and it's completely normal to not exactly see eye to eye on things. sometimes he wants to be a hot head and argue with you, but other times he would simply drop the subject completely.

- however if it does get heated and intense, he would give you space for a couple days before suggesting you both talk it out calmly over again.

- pda isn't too big of an issue with him. he honestly doesnt care much who sees you guys together, however he doesn't want to be making out on the streets for everyone to see. holding hands, casual pecks on the cheek, and hugs are probably the most he'd do in public.

- he's very thoughtful when it comes to little details so he writes you notes all the time to push you to do better everyday and to try and make you smile when he's not around.

- if you didn't sign up for guitar lessons, thats too bad because jay's gonna try and teach you how to play regardless.

- even if you end up being terrible at playing guitar he would still play it for you. he'd specifically learn all your favorite songs and play them for you when you're having a bad day or ask him to play you something. he gets bonus points when he sings a little bits of the songs as well.

- spending long weekends and breaks in japan is a must for the both of you, he loves going to japan and loves impressing you with his japanese skills.

- regardless of what you choose to do with your life jay will be there 100% of the way. he loves to support you and shows up to anything you deem important. even with busy schedules he tries his best to be at your important events even if its only a little bit. he wants you to know that he values you.

- in jays world, there is no such thing of not having enough time for you. you matter so much more than anything else to him. you come first.

- he'd have you meet his family. probably over dinner, and would hype you up to them so much. he talks to highly of you, and tells his mom over and over again how proud he is of you and your accomplishments. his parents are very impressed by you with how highly he speaks of you.

- one thing he'd never admit, after years of dating is how nervous he was to kiss you for the first time. he was almost visibly shaking but he'd never own up to it.

- in this relationship, jay would be the one to tell you he loves you first. he seems like someone who puts lots of meaning into the word 'love' so he would wait for the perfect moment to say it. probably like a 6 month anniversary or a very romantic date.

- if you complain about your closet being to small the next day he hires a contractor to build you the closet of your dreams. if you complain about your car the next day he takes you out to buy a new one. only the best for his partner.

- he loves going to parties or events and having his hand on the small of your back protectively. he thinks it shows that you're with him and incase anything happens he has you close.

- his phone lock screen would be a picture of the two of you from one of your vacations in another country. if anyone asks him who's on his lock screen he proudly talks about you and how you're such a great partner.

- you didn't expect to get so many selfies from him. but he surpisingly sends you a lot. i guess you can call this significant other privileges.

- on days you're sick, he would never left you lift a figure. he takes care of you, even if you tell him he'll get sick. he doesnt matter you're his everything and he will help you through it.

- as much as he loves you, he needs to feel the same kind of love back. he needs praise and affection to thrive in a relationship. if he feels like the amount of love he's giving is not being matched, he might withdrawl from the situation all together.

- compliments. just compliments. jay can't go a day without reminding you how perfect you are in his eyes.

- he likes to kiss you all over. your hand, cheek, lips, nose, shoulder, side, thigh, calf, tummy. anywhere he can reach, he'll kiss sweetly.

- his favorite part of the day is getting home and laying his head on your lap while you both mindlessly scroll through your phones.

- as capable as you are, jay never lets you open doors or carry your own things. he never lets you stand on the side of the widewalk closest to the street. he's just such a gentleman.

- he values your opinion on everything especially when making big purchases. he sees you both as a unit and before he makes big decisions he needs to consult with you to make sure you're both on the same page.

- expect long talks about your future together and goals you both have. sometimes those conversations get so deep you forget about where you both started.

- sharing music is a form of love, and he'd love sharing playlists or spotify accounts with you so you both can enjoy music. he sometimes reccomends you songs and feels great when you tell him you liked it.

- overall, jay is the perfect husband material boyfriend. everyone tells you to marry him before they do. fr.

- jungwon is so best friends to lovers coded. it's written all over his being. i see it happening so perfectly.

- at first every thing is soooo platonic. going out to lunch, studying together, going bike riding, everything as friends until one day you get tired of him not understanding the multitude of hints you're throwing at him. so, you end up confessing.

- to be honest he's a little confused at first, because how could he miss the fact that you liked him ?? especially all this time?? luckily, he didn't have to think about it much and told you he'd be your boyfriend right then and there. he didn't see too much of a difference from what you guys were doing before. but now he had kissing privileges.

- you guys are almost always on facetime with eachother, like almost everyday talking for hours. sometimes you both fall asleep while in the phone and other times he ends the call with a loud kissy noise to let you know he loves you.

- jungwon is someone who likes to take interest in things you like or enjoy. if it's a show he'd watch it, book, he'd read it, or game he'd play it just so he's able to relate to you and spend time with you doing something you enjoy doing.

- his love languages are so clear, he cant help but express them. they cone to him naturally like, acts of service, quality time, and physical touch.

- when he's away on tour you guys are almost always on facetime. before bed he needs to hear your voice regardless of the timezone. most times you guys both fall asleep on the phone and have facetime calls that last anywhere from 5 minutes to 16 hours.

- without thinking he shares his food with you. most times he's mindlessly talking or scrolling through his phone as he offers you a bite of his food from his chopsticks.

- jungwon listens to any and all issues and concerns you may have in that pretty little brain of yours. sometimes he asks you if you want advice, solutions, or just someone to listen regardless of what he thinks.

- sometimes when he's in a playful mood he'd hide your things, that he knows you need. like a straw to a reuseable cup, your computer mouse, your favorite mug, maybe even a shoe. he does it just to see how long it would take you to notice he had it. plus watching you freak out and look for your lost item made him laugh.

- he likes to pretend to trip you. he purposely sticks his foot out only to move it away at the last second. sometimes he does actually trip youto which he laughs and helps you up.

- jealousy is his middle name. regardless of who you're attracted to he's always tentative and reading body language around you. he's not worried about you, he's worried about others getting too friendly with you, but he'd never tell you that.

- if you get sick he'd playfully scold you and make sure you have what you need to get better. like meds, soup, water. he's not exactly sure how to take care of you but, the best he can do is make sure you're taking your meds on time and drinking water.

- he remembers ever little detail you've shared about yourself with him. he plays coy most of the time, but when you have specific orders for foods or drinks he some how always brings you things exactly as you ask for it.

- if you dig deep into his phone you'll find the note he made on his notes app when you guys first started dating with all the things you like and all the things you dont and maybe even your usual fast food orders.

- jungwon's your biggest fan. number 1 supporter. he would cheer for you even if no one else is. he loves you so much everything you do is golden in his eyes.

- with that, jungwon loves seeing you supporting him. you guys are so supportive of eachother. he feels like seeing you the audience energizes him because he wants you to be proud and have something to brag about.

- saying "i love you" came so natural to him. he probably said it one night about 3 months into your relationship. it was kinda shocking and honestly even took him by suprise. but it was just so easy.

- your phone is always being blown up with his texts. he sends you everything and anything. he loves texting you. good morning texts, good night texts,bored daily selfies. you get it all.

- his phone is full of pictures of you, most of them off guard or blurry. and everytime you see them you tell him to delete it because you think you look bad. but he thinks theres no bad pictures of you.

- jungwon's the type to look over at your over your shoulder at your phone. not because he doesn't trust you, but usually because his eyes just happen to land there if you guys are together. to be annoying he sometimes taps the screen to mess what ever you're doing up and get your attention.

- without you having to ask, jungwon brings you your favorite snacks everytime you both hang out. he just always brings things, and they all happen to be your favorites.

- if you're looking for something under a table or cabinet he puts a hand over the edge so you don't hit your head against the hard surface while getting up.

- he loves nights where you both can just chill out and watch movies. you guys obligatory monthly movie marathon nights with popcorn and candy.

- jungwon is always planning dates. he loves coming up with fun and creative ways to spend time together so its not all repetitive and expected.

- to make sure he has time with you, he designates a day in the week for it to be date night. something like every thursday. if he's on tour on your date night we would take time out of his day to have a virtual date playing video games or watching a movie together online while still on facetime.

- arguments with jungwon are very rare. he's usually so understanding and tends to see your side in conversations. he also articulates and expresses his feelings really well when he feels like he must.

- obviously he would never admit it, but jungwon lives to see you in his clothes. infact, you both trade and share clothes often and he lives for it.

- he rests his head on yours all the time. it's always iust you and him. cheek to cheek. its a simple act of affection.

- you always try to poke his dimple everytime it pops out and he has successfully turned his head fast enough to bite your finger before you could.

- skinship is something you get a lot of with him. especially in private. sometimes it's usual sweet things like kisses and cuddles and other times it's him playfully tackling you onto the couch. its almost like he's glued to you.

- sometimes he shows you tiktok trends couples are doing all over his fyp and begs you to make a tiktok with him because it would be cute. he can't help but post it and make everyone jealous about your relationship.

- you guys have a shared playlist on a music app that allows you both to just dump songs into it. you guys listen to the playlist when you hang out all the time. some songs are ones he likes, others you like, and some you both love. at this point the playlist has over 200 songs you both just love listening to.

- he tries to be crafty and cute for you. key word is tries. he wants to make you sweet handmade cards or a mug in a pottery class. they're not terrible and you obviously keep each thing he hand makes you. he knows you love him if you're keeping the lopsided hello kitty mug he painted for you.

- you hardly ever need to verbally tell him you need something because he observes and knows when you run low of things you use daily and just buys you things like that. your favorite perfume is low? he got you a new one. your fabric softener is out? he got you more. he ate the last bowl of clyour favorite cereal? he's replacing it with a whole new box.

- expect him to keep every little thing you give or gift him. you see the little stickers you give him on the back of his phone or on his laptop, the scrunchies you leave at his house are around his wrist incase either of you needs them, and the weird little blind bag figures you get him are neatly placed on his desk for him to see everyday.

- he usually calls you by your name because part of him thinks pet names are cringe. if he's feeling funny he'll probably call you something like "booger" or "bun head" out of love.

- for some reason valentine's day means a lot to him, so he goes full on out every year and thinks on ways to out do himself in the next year.

- loves stay at home dates where you both just enjoy eachother's company. maybe do a facemask, maybe cook some ramen, and maybe you sleep over. it's just perfect.

- overall, jungwon is such a sweet, caring and orotective boyfriend. i think he's the most boyfriend material out of the whole group!

- it might be a little awkward at first but part of the awkwardness makes you both laugh, leading to both of you talking for hours probably not realizing the sun had gone down and the food was long gone.

- jay probably asks you to be his partner about 2 weeks after your first date. he doesn't exactly move fast but he also wouldn't ask someone on a date if he wasn't at least 90% sure they were worth it.

- he looks scarier than he truly is. for some reason something about you makes his walls go down, opening himself to affection and being very cute and gentle with you.

- but don't get him wrong. he's extremely protective and some what jealous. he often watches over you ensure you're alright. he doesn't hover but would definitely enjoy scaring weird men away from trying to hit on you.

- however, he's putty in your hands. you know the saying thats like "no one would ever put up with that princess behavior of yours"? well, he would. anything you asked for you got, and a simple pout would make him fold instantly.

- he doesn't mind carrying you after going out because your shoes are uncomfortable, or giving you his jacket when your cold... or even holding your purse or shopping bags when they get too heavy.

- if you haven't already connected the dots, his love languages are very obviously words of affirmation and acts of service.

- he'd obviously cook for you to try and impress you all of the time. sometimes he pulls you into the kitchen to teach you how to make simple meals when for when he's not around.

- while on a phone call with him he would hate to hang up. he'd rather fall asleep on the phone then hang up early. when you try and cut the call short he gets pouty and pretends to be upset with you.

- jay primarily goes shopping for you.. he gets you anything and everything expensive, even after you yell at him for spending so much money on you. but he doesn't care he loves to spoil you.

- you'll notice that he's gotten a good idea of your style and things you like after only a couple months of dating so, when he does gift you things. they're always things you've always wanted to buy for yourself but couldn't. he's making sure you have the wardrobe you've always wanted.

- he is always checking you out, his eyes always say it all. it's hard for him to hide the love and admiration he has for you.

- dispite how possessive he can be, he respects you enough to say that he has no control over who you can or can't hang out with. he would however express his discomfort. whatever you do with that infromation is on you.

- with this being said arguments arent something that would be extremely often between you to but in his eyes all relationships have disagreements and it's completely normal to not exactly see eye to eye on things. sometimes he wants to be a hot head and argue with you, but other times he would simply drop the subject completely.

- however if it does get heated and intense, he would give you space for a couple days before suggesting you both talk it out calmly over again.

- pda isn't too big of an issue with him. he honestly doesnt care much who sees you guys together, however he doesn't want to be making out on the streets for everyone to see. holding hands, casual pecks on the cheek, and hugs are probably the most he'd do in public.

- he's very thoughtful when it comes to little details so he writes you notes all the time to push you to do better everyday and to try and make you smile when he's not around.

- if you didn't sign up for guitar lessons, thats too bad because jay's gonna try and teach you how to play regardless.

- even if you end up being terrible at playing guitar he would still play it for you. he'd specifically learn all your favorite songs and play them for you when you're having a bad day or ask him to play you something. he gets bonus points when he sings a little bits of the songs as well.

- spending long weekends and breaks in japan is a must for the both of you, he loves going to japan and loves impressing you with his japanese skills.

- regardless of what you choose to do with your life jay will be there 100% of the way. he loves to support you and shows up to anything you deem important. even with busy schedules he tries his best to be at your important events even if its only a little bit. he wants you to know that he values you.

- in jays world, there is no such thing of not having enough time for you. you matter so much more than anything else to him. you come first.

- at first he was confident but your hesitation to respond made him a bit nervous. he would hate to lose a friend over something like this. however, when you confessed back he couldn't help but smile.

- something he always does, is bring you snacks or sweet treats. he always picks something up before seeing you incase you havent eaten or have a craving.

- he's just so unbelievably caring. he'd always put your comfort over his. and makes an effort to write down things like your favorite foods, colors, flavors, scents. in order to get you things or make sure you're comfortable at all times.

- he would probably beg for you to let him do your skincare sometimes. sunoo would also be so excited to show you the new skin care he bought and wants you to try it right away.

- you'll unforunately be the victim of the sassy man apocalypse. this man is saaaaasssy and he would expect to get his way in the end 100% no matter what.

- fights are rare considering sunoo would prefer to be with someone similar to him. he talks a lot and enjoys having conversations so if theres any disagreements or misunderstandings he would simply talk it out with you.

- he also enjoys laying in bed and talking all night with you. one time you guys talked for a really long time about so many different things. that the sun came up and surprised you both.

- expect texts from him all the time! he loves texting and probably connects with you the most through text. he asks you how your day is, what you're up to. he also sends you lots of selfies.

- while on tour he whines about missing you a lot especially when something doesnt go his way or he's being beyond pouty. it gets to the point where the others call you and tell you that your boyfriend's pouting again.

- surpisingly, you are the only person aloud to play with uis hair. he only lets you put pig tails in it or add clips or even losely braid his short hair. he loves the feeling of your hands in his hair.

- you get this warm feeling when ever he's around. even if he's not physically next to you, hearing him in the kitchen singing a random song or hearing his laugh from the living room makes the space so warm.

- both of you value laughing and not being too serious in your relationship. so the vibes are always perfect even if theres slight teasing.

- sunoo would assign you an animal so everytime he sees that animal, or a plush/toy of that animal he thinks of you. it's created a bit of a problem because now he has a collection of that animal in the corner of his room and no one would understand why except for you.

- you and riki had been introduced to eachother by mutual friends. he for some reason found himself always wanting to impress you each time he saw you. thats how he found out he liked you.

- the weird feeling he would get in his chest when he saw you was actually just the butterflies. even if he didn't want to admit it. so, one day after talking to jake for a really long time about his feelings he finally got the confidence to tell you how he felt.

- he honestly was ready for rejection so when you told him you were also interested in him, took him off guard. he probably would need a moment to register what exactly to do next. but from that day on you guys just assumed you were dating without any proper question. you both admitted feelings for each other.. so you guys just assumed thats how relationships start.

- the first date would probably be to a movie in the park or maybe a shopping run that turned into a cafe and boba date on accident.

- riki is usually very private about his relationships.. however, if someone gets on his nerves he plays the "at least im actually dating someone!" card to rub in their face that he managed to find someone who loves and cares about him.

- he's a mean boyfriend, meaning that he will tease you, poke fun at you and play pranks on you because thats how he shows his love. however, you must retaliate in return if not its not fun.

- sometimes when you're walking down the street while holding hands he purposefully trips you and chuckles when you stumble only for you to try and trip him back. this usually leads to you guys almost tackling eachother in the middle of the sidewalk.

- he also finds it funny when he holds his hand out against your head to stop you from getting closer to him. he's tall and has long arms so he thinks its funny but after a while he gives in and pulls you close.

- you know he loves to mess around and tease you however, no matter how much he playfully bullies you he's actually very protective of you. lots of his jokes come from a place of love. however, if someone else were to make fun of you the way he did he couldn't find it funny at all.

- despite how playful he is. he would die for your touch. he loves melting into your arms and holding you. believe it or not he's a lot clinger than you'd imagine.

- in private he's putty in your hands but around his hyungs or anyone else he tries to play it cool.

- he draws you things on any serface if you give him enough time and a writing utensil. they're usually cute drawings of a couple that he says are the two of you. he leaves these little doodles on your shopping lists, notebooks, sticky notes, white boards.

- when you visit him while he's at practice he gets so excited because he loves seeing you when he's in his element. he shows off just for you and asks you if you thought he looked cool while dancing.

- riki finds your height difference to be extremely cute. he loves pointing out how short you are compared to him. he loves feeling tall around you. please ask him to get things off the top shelf.

- he's going to ask to borrow your hair tie, and never give it back so he can wear it around his wrist or keep it on his nightstand as evidence he's with someone.

- something you noticed is that he'd "accidentally" leave his shirts or hoodies at your place in hopes that you'd wear it. and when you do he melts a little inside.

- when shopping he usually likes to take you with him so you can tell him what you think about clothes. he wont buy something you don't like. if you're not with him expect pictures of clothes on him or facetime calls for your opinion.

- riki loves hearing your voice so even when he's sleepy from a long day working, he'll call you just to hear you talk about your day. his deep raspy voice usually just humming along to your words to let you know he's listening.

- most times he ends up falling asleep with you on call, regardless of if it's a video chat or regular phone call. he feels comfortable enough to do that with you so it's sweet. plus he works so hard you can't possibly be upset.

- he gets a lot if his dating and relationship advice from jake because in his eyes he thinks he's the most romantic. so most big romantic gestures from riki is usually something jake told him to do for you.

- pda is a big no for him, maybe simple hand holding or a quick hug would be okay. but he gets way too shy to actually kiss you or be overly touchy with you in public.

-but, he does like to see you wearing his clothes or matching shoes with him. its a little cheesy but he can't get enough of it. it's a little nod that you belong to each other.

- on his phone your contact would be something like "my loser." or "nerd." something not too romantic incase someone takes his phone and makes fun of him for having such a lovey dovey name for you.

- his home screen is a picture of you though. you're not looking at the camera and it's kinda blurry but he knows it's you and he loves looking at the candid pictures he's taken of you. loves it so much that it makes one of them his hime screen.

- riki loves thrill especially thrill rides so even if you don't like them he would drag you to ride rollercoasters or fast rides with him.

- he does love to kiss you though. after the first kiss he was addicted and is always looking forward the next kiss. however he would die inside if anyone every caught you both kissing.

- arguments are something unavoidable. especially when riki can be a little bit of a hot-head about things and prideful. he kinda sucks at apologizing or talking things out so space from each other usually helps you both cool down.

- after a couple days you both realize how much you miss each other and end up forgetting why you were upset with each other in the first place.

- a fault in him is saying yes to anything you want to do or ask for. sometimes he doesn't realize what exactly he's agreeing to. this has gotten him into a lot of very interesting situations with you. like ending up in the salon next to you getting his nails and toes done, or taste testing weird herbal teas, or even getting his hair dyed to slightly match yours.

- after a long day, you both just melt into the sofa and scroll on your phones for hours. just watching tiktoks or something similar. occasionally reaching over to show each other something funny.

- if you're not doing your weekly tiktok scroll with him on the sofa, you're probably cuddling and watching an anime. you guys take turns picking which one to watch. its also a nice way to spend time together since he loves to order food and make a date night out of it.

- when going out with you to a place where theres music and dancing involved. regardless on if you can or can't dance he would pull you to dance floor to dance with him. a big smile on his face as he watches you move and enjoy yourself.

- he is so supportive of you no matter what. he would promote your projects you choose to do regardless of what it is. he always has your back, and encourages you to do what you love.

- just expect impromptu dance parties while listening to music. you guys could be chilling and having music in the background when he pulls you up and just playfully dances with you.

- when watching a romance movie and they do something cool, like kiss under stars, or set up a romantic camp site, or something of that nature he can't help but look at you and say "lets do that."

- he would never tell you, but praise goes such a long way with him. he wants to hear that he's doing well and that you're proud of him. so when you vocalize it he loves it.

- in the beginning of the relationship he says things like. "saying 'i love you' is so cheesy." only to be the one who says it over and over later in your relationship. when you wake up, when you part ways for the day, when you go to bed. all the time.

- riki would also have a polaroid of you on the back of his clear phone case because he thinks it's cute. and regardless of how old the photo is he wont change it.

- overall, riki's a sweet but, mischievous type boyfriend. he lives and breathes for you and wont let you forget it with how much he playfully annoys you. there is nothing he wont do to make you happy or to hear your laugh that he loves so much.

HAPPY HOON DAY! after seeing jakehoon's matching tiffany rings and their cute vlog at the tiffany store, i couldn't help but think... what if sunghoon was shopping for not only friendship rings with jake but also something special for you.

everyone knew sunghoon was erratically indecisive. he would pick things up and put them back only to talk himself into linking it again and picking it up once more. it drove his members wild, so wild that jay had complained about not wanting to shop with your boyfriend anymore, simply because he took far too long to make a choice. that was where you came in, you never considered yourself to be extremely decisive nor have you ever been as indecisive as he was... but, something about you giving your honest opinion on things made him choose which items to take home way more efficiently. sunghoon would never admit it, but of he liked something and you thought it was lame, he automatically would talk himself into thinking it was lame in first place. making him set the item back on what ever rack or shelf he had originally found it on. so, when going shopping— in his mind— you were an essential factor.

however, on this shopping trip... you weren't able to join, leaving both him and jake alone in a store full of an expensive amount of jewelry. on his way in, he automatically thought about getting you something with his new tiffany brand deal. what kind of boyfriend would he be if he didn't get you everything you wanted within the resources he was given? he couldn't live with himself if he had gotten himself something nice and left you in the dust. so as soon as they entered the store he began looking at earrings. maybe it could have been something you would wear on special occasions like dates or fancy dinners with family... or holidays. he searched for something different, unique, and so delicately beautiful... all words that he often used to describe you and yet nothing bc stuck out to him.

after an hour and a half in the store, sunghoon began to get nervous. both him and jake had picked their friendship rings and now your boyfriend had been mindlessly browsing though the store to find something you'd actually enjoy. any other guy would have just grabbed the first pair of earrings or sparkly bracelet he came across but sunghoon just couldn't being himself to do that. especially with how practical he was. he wasn't going to get you something that would sit in your jewelry box and soon become forgotten because you didn't like it. that would be a waste. so despite his friend's impatience, he continued to look at each and every single piece of jewelry to find you something specifically for you.

luckily, after an additional 35 minutes, he found just what he was looking for. a necklace with a cursive letter 's'pendant. small, yet noticeable enough. after picking it out, he showed it to jake. to which the aussie boy couldn't help but excitedly pat his friend on the back and rave about how you'd love it. now all your boyfriend needed to do was give it to you.

after getting home to your shared apartment with a small blue tiffany and co bag in his hand, sunghoon looked for you. "babe?" he called out, as he took off his jacket and set it on the coatrack. "i'll be right there hoon!" you called out from the bathroom. some how your internal clocks always seem to sync. just as you finished your shower as he come through the door as if you had been expecting his arrival. "how was it?" you called out from the other room while getting dressed.

sunghoon loved this, how domestic it felt to know you had been winding down for the day when he got home. and talking to each other from different ends of the apartment as you both went on with your own routines. "it was really nice actually, jake and i got matching rings." he hummed as he walked into your shared bedroom and to the bathroom door which was slightly open. sticking his hand into the now humid room, he happily showed you his new rings. taking his hand, you looked at the new silver pieces of jewelry now adorning his hand happily and opened the bathroom door far enough for you to get through. "they're cute hoon, i like them a lot." you smiled warmly at him. you honestly didn't expect much, you knew some brands were extremely strict about what their ambassadors could and couldn't take and you would hate for your boyfriend to lose his ambassadorship for pushing boundaries. you were happy for him none the less, you knew that if it wasn't for the sponsorship, sunghoon would have never gone out to get himself jewelry like that.

" i got you something." he chuckled, feeling his cheeks heat up in the moment. he was never good at this type of stuff. he usually preferred to leave a gift on your bed or dining table while he was out working. however with this he was so excited to give it to you, that he had to present it to you now. "babe! you didn't have to get me anything." you pouted at him, while gently pushing past him to set your worn clothes in the hamper and hang your towel up. you truly never wanted him to put you over himself even with things like this. "you could have gotten yourself another piece or something , you didn't have to." you added.

sunghoon gently shook his head as he turned to face you again. "no, i wanted to. i spend a really long time looking for it. i want you to have it." he reassured you. something he had to do each time you had told him he didn't have to get you anything. "if it's not your style you can tell me we can exchange it for another." which was again something he would always say when ever he got you anything. the clarification was always for nothing because everything he had ever gotten you had always ended up liking and yet deep within him was a little feeling of anxiousness.

handing you the small bag in the famous shade of blue you had seen everywhere you couldn't help but get excited. "hoon this will probably be the most expensive thing i own..." you chuckled softly before sitting on your shared bed and gently pulling the tissue paper out of the bag carefully. "that just means i need to get you prada next." he smiled softly, taking a seat next to you, only making you blush more at the thought of being spoiled with all these fancy name brand things. "come on- open it babe." he added, encouraging you to reach into the bag to pull out a small bright blue box. as if it would break, you handled the box with care, gently pulling the top off to expose the dainty silver necklace with the small 's' pendant he had picked out, laying on top of the white satin lining. you let out a small gasp as you took in the beauty of the necklace. it was simple yet, beautiful. definitely something you could wear daily without fail.

"it's beautiful hoon..." you said softly with a smile plastered onto your face. "really? i thought getting you my initial might be a little tacky but jake insisted it was sweet." he responded, his lips breaking into a brighter toothy smile at your response. you could only shake your head slightly, you didn't think it was tacky at all. from a far it was hard to tell the pendant was his first initial, making it a bit more special. you knew what it was, he knew what it was. and it wasn't annoyingly in your face either, it was perfect. "it's actually really pretty." you smiled at him before pressing a soft kiss onto his cheek. being with sunghoon for so long, you should have known that one sweet cheek kiss would have turned into sunghoon turning his head to catch your lips with his own, because it did. just like each time you had kissed his cheek before. a giggle escaped your lips between each soft, sweet kiss he gave you making him rumble up a chuckle of his own as well. "you better wear that necklace everywhere." he said while finally pulling away.

"are you kidding? i'm never taking it off!"

"mmmm good~ all mine."

"yep- all yours sunghoon~"
