Asking because I'm also a type 1 with a dexcom; how can you stand putting it so high up your torso? I'm just curious; that close to the ribs kills me.

Its a fine line of finding where is like, not too high for me, but it gives me rest of my tummy for my pump sets as I have to use steel ones so have to be more specific about where I place them as no give to them! I also have a little pouch of fat that sits in that area that just works for me!

I've had many years of trying places and finding what works for me! I used to use back of my arms exclusively for dexcom, but had lots of the false lows from lying on it when there that don't get with this placement thankfully!
