I can’t imagine someone getting sweaty hands or feeling butterflies in their stomach when they look at me like I can’t imagine myself being the object of someone’s late night love fantasy

Listen: Klaxons - There Is No Other Time It was four years ago that Klaxons released their rather poor second album Surfing The Void, and since then there hasn’t been much buzz from the nu-rave instigators… until now. “There Is No Other Time” is a bloody excellent return to form; disco drum machines, glistening synths, big bassline, bigger hooks, hands-in-the-air moments. It’s like the best of their 2007 debut Myths Of The Near Future, but focused and new and shiny, and produced with a glorious pop sheen by Gorgon City. An as-yet-untitled album is set to follow in the summer, and by the sounds of it, it’ll be bloody superb.
