You know if Claudia was somehow alive to hear Lestat’s song about her she would have absolutely roasted him about it to his face. But I do think secretly she would be touched, that she mattered enough to him to inspire him to create something, to in fact change the whole direction of his album that began as a brash vanity project but couldn’t stay that way once he included her. To know that she was more than a shingle that flew off the roof of his and Louis’ stormy romance and oh no this started as a silly post about Claudia ragebating Lestat on social media but then I made myself sad.
