BEST MEXICAN IN ATLANTA
It's not exactly shocking that there are a ton of restaurants in Atlanta. It's not uncommon to pass by 6 or 7 Mexican places on a 10 minute drive. But which ones are the best? Well sit down, grab a pen and paper, and get ready to listen. I'm about to share my knowledge.
TACO CANTINAÂ http://mytacocantina.com/
They have lucha libre masks on their walls. Done and done. Just kidding. Sort of. The atmosphere is one of the things that make it fantastic. Clean. Well lit. Lots of stuff to look at (masks are my fav) without being overwhelming. I think of Taco Cantina as a Cuban-Mexican style restaurant. Itâs family run, and you feel at home. I like their nachos. I like their tortas. I love their quesadillas. Honestly havenât eaten here that I didnât really enjoy. SALSA BAR IS FANTABULOUS! If you donât fall into a food coma after your meal (itâs so good you might not be able to help yourself) get some of their homemade cake. Thereâs only one way to describe it. Wow.
HANKOOK TAQUERIAÂ http://hankooktaqueria.com/
Real talk here: some of the best food in the world is going to be in the sketchy restaurant that your trendy friend wonât go to. You donât look at it from the outside and say to yourself, âSelf, bet that place sells some good food.â Well, Iâm telling you that it sells good food. This is Korean-Mexican food; I was skeptical at first, but they made me a believer. Get. The fried. Pot stickers. Theyâre the best I've ever had, period. They fry it like they would fry chicken, and man o man is it delicious. THE STAFF IS BASICALLY MY FAMILY! My first time in there, I was nervous, hungry, and had no idea what to get. They were so sweet and helpful. 12/10 for customer service; they are great. The chicken taco were my favorite, except for maybe the shrimp tacos, or maybe the pork burrito, or... actually I donât have a favorite. Itâs all good. This is on my âcollege student-budget-listâ Itâs affordable, which just makes it taste that much better.
LA VILLA MEXICAN TAQUERIAÂ https://www.yelp.com/biz/tacos-la-villa-smyrna
This place is authentic boy. Itâs got beef tongue tacos, so thereâs your fun fact of the day. THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE!!! I could eat the nachos for three meals. Speaking of the nachos, they are the best nachos of my life. Maybe it was the delicious chicken, maybe it was their slightly spicy cheese, or how the peppers and onions were in bite sized pieces. I donât know man, but theyâre the best. Donât sleep on their tacos either though, because they have the perfect meat to topping ratio. Just about all their food had a bit a spice to it, but I loved it (I also love spicy foods so just a heads up) Itâs always busy here. Always. But I wouldnât wait in line for just any Mexican food, and La Villa makes it worth it. PS if you value your life, donât try the salsa. Itâs hot. Hotter than Captain America hot.
BEGINNING OF THE END PEOPLE
I went to an All Time Low concert tonight. I lost my voice, I need a shower, and I'll probably sleep through my open house tomorrow morning but I wouldn't change a thing. (Except I might have made the temperature cooler)

Glad I would help this beauty celebrate 17 with Mexican food and random Walmart trips
Ormond Beach Retreat 2017 was a success! I met so many great people and made so many great memories! Canât wait to do it again as a leader!
My Top 5 National Parks
I love national parks. Itâs not really a secret. But which ones are the icing on the cake? Based on my limited experience, here are five. (Not in any specific order!)
BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK
This National Park is so underrated. Itâs different from the other desert national parks in that itâs more free roam. You can go where you want to go, but itâs all at your own risk. The visitor center had a paleontology exhibit that made me feel like a kid in a candy store. Donât try to convince me that itâs not cool; you wonât succeed. If anyone is going to Badlands National Park, please remember to call me aND TAKE ME WITH YOU PLEASE!!! IâLL DO ANYTHING!!!
SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK
Sometimes all you need is a really big tree to show you how small your problems are. Sequoia National Park has big trees. Really big trees. If you like taking pictures of flowers, this is the park for you; theyâre literally everywhere and are so beautiful. Thereâs a sequoia tree that fell down and was hollowed out to make a house. Who wouldnât want to see that? I also got to hug a tree thatâs over 3,300 years old. So thereâs that.
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
I think we all knew that Yellowstone was going to make the list. Something about watching water explode out of the ground and 60 feet into the air just screams American Road Trip. If you like being around people, thereâs plenty of places with people and animals. If you donât like being around people, thereâs plenty of places with just animals. If you donât like animals, this isnât your park. They are everywhere. The scenery is second to none, and all of the park rangers are more than happy to help you find a trail or scenic spot to visit.
ACADIA NATIONAL PARK
If I could build a cabin in any National Park, it would be this one. Itâs gorgeous. As you walk the trails and breathe that air, it feels like a huge weight is being lifted off your chest. The whole park is an ideal spot to get away and immerse yourself in nature. Some of the nicest park rangers Iâve met were at Acadia. Something about Acadia is different than the other forest national parks Iâve visited. Itâs good for the soul.
VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
This park is in itâs own category. You literally walk on these platforms that take you to look down into steam chambers of an active volcano. All of the volcanic rock is shaped into weird designs and structures that are great for photography lovers or just an everyday adventurer. The visitor station has tons of great information about volcanoes and the formation of the Hawaiian Islands.
Coming Soon
Okay so as my road trip went on, I started updating less and less. I felt like I was being really annoying so I saved up all my information to spread it out a bit. This weekend I'm posting a review of my favourite national parks, so stay tuned!!! :)
