Farkle is rileys toganga. Get over it. The writers said there isn't gonna be another corpanga. So if Lucas was hers and they stayed together forever that would be corpanga. And MJ himself said he wants to make it realistic. Farkle ending up with Riley will be entirely different then corpanga bc of how they would get together. Rucas would be exactly corpanga. Boy meets girl. They end up together.
i actually had to pause and laugh at this for a good minute. the humor in these asks man…incomparable.
first you say, “farkle is riley’s topanga.”
then you say, “there isn’t gonna be another corpanga.”
then you say, “rucas would be exactly like corpanga.”
it’s time to drop the bullshit. you keep saying farkle’s the ‘’topanga’’ yet then you say there won’t be another topanga anyway, so what ARE you trying to pull? either way farkle’s showed more traits of his OWN father, stuart minkus, more than he has showed ANYTHING of topanga.

^ this is weird. topanga was always known as weird. not in a nerdy way, not an an academic way (though she was highly smart), but in a hippie psychedelic one-with-the-earth type of way.
^ this is psychotic. ok, maybe that’s a reach, but FARKLE’s type of weird is literally every basic nerd cliche in the book. good grades, disgusting ass clothes, annoying in-your-face persona, braggart, makes strange noises, fragile and weak as hell, overbearing when it comes to his attempts at flirting, stalkerish, creepy, and overall uncomfortable to be around. mind you that riley was literally ANNOYED as hell when she had farkle in her class in the pilot episode. she was like, ‘’why do we have to have a that!’’ and the audience just laughed. why? because, much like stuart minkus himself, farkle’s role was and potentially will always be the annoying nerd who USED TO have a crush on BOTH riley and maya then once he started to regain his sanity he developed a crush on smackle.
so now that we know the EASILY spotted differences between their levels of weirdness. you’re trying to tell me that lucas friar isn’t the new topanga lawrence?
sure they’re not similar in personality because that’s fucking lazy. what they ARE the same in is names. topanga Lawrence. lucas Friar. Friar Laurence = Romeo and Juliet = Rucas in Girl Meets The Truth = Corpanga in A Long Walk To Pittsburgh. i’d suggest you watch boy meets world again because CLEARLY you’ve missed out on all the highly telling rucas parallels.
as for realism. last time i checked, ending up with someone you met in middle school is FAR more realistic than someone that you knew since you were five and they had a crush on you for decades. not only is farkle’s situation more creepy, but it’s also SEVERELY cliche. it also reinforces the idea the guys and girls can’t just stay friends. how fucking sad.
