moon & sun this indicates someone whose personality is constantly shifting and adapting. it doesn’t mean their core self is fabricated per se, but that flexibility in identity is a core part of their selfhood. some days they’re social, some days they’re not. some days they’re calm, some days they’re temperamental. some days they’re confident, some days they’re insecure. they’re a full range of color, wandering between different modes of self-expression.

moon & mercury this placement has a liar & manipulator stereotype put on it, and it’s not necessarily untrue. these people can sometimes be liars, lol. but really, it’s because they’re unreliable narrators wherein their opinions are constantly subject to change depending on a myriad of factors, but their emotions being on of the stronger influences. they also may misremember details, as the moon (representing subconscious clarity) can at times be unclear, only illuminating fractions of a memory or parts of a truth while omitting other parts.

moon & venus their romantic, artistic, and financial tastes are often subject to change. they’re wanderers, not tethered to one type of partner, one type of artist, one type of anything. because they have such a wide standard of things that they like, they often tend to be pleasant individuals to be around. they don’t limit themselves. this can be bad news though if either is in certain configurations because it can absolutely be a toxic placement, like they can sometimes be serial lovers just. can make cheaters and lovebombers, lol.

moon & mars this may cause someone to quickly slip in and out of their emotions. their inner world overall is often unstable. anything that is emotionally stimulating - anger, passion, fear, aggression, resentment, etc - may be felt in waves and phases. one moment, you’re fine. the next, you think about something and get mad all over again. then, you’re fine again. and so on and so forth. one thing for sure though, they do not be forgetting. anything. your enemies may also change a lot, as well as your energy and stamina. you could have so much fire in you one day, then burn yourself out the next.

moon & jupiter their principles, values, and higher beliefs or theories can be subject to change. i believe these to be people who converse with themselves often, mulling over the things they believe and why they believe them. great placement for philosophers though. they often seek enlightenment and subconscious clarity, so the guruism of jupiter tends to have them ‘wander’ through ideologies. it can create a fascination with different cultures, religions, and languages for this reason!

moon & saturn depending on how saturn is positioned, it can restrict changeability and make someone who resists change. i also noticed that these people often struggle with structure or following a strict routine/rules. because moon wants to wander. it can be a bit evasive, forgetful, and distractable. but saturn wants it to be present and diligent. their lessing is often moreso about learning how to allow themselves to change after being inhibited in youth.

what you obsess over
an obsession is when your mind becomes fixated on something: it’s a mental preoccupation that can be troubling and intrusive. what we obsess over can be indicated by the 8th lord. because the 8th house is an averse house, this obsession can be a distortion of the self/mind.

eighth ruler in first gives someone a preoccupation with themselves, their bodies/faces, their health, etc. they may be overall obsessive, can be controlling. may struggle with persistent mental health issues, they may also get plastic surgery or have body dysmorphia.

eighth ruler in second gives someone a preoccupation with their resources and finances. they may be someone who resource guards a lot. this can come from a fear of lack or poverty. they also could obsess over their diet and nutrition. in extreme cases, this can result in struggles with disordered eating.

eighth ruler in third gives someone a general mental fixations. this can manifest as mental disorders with obsessive or compulsive symptoms, such as obsessive compulsive disorder. they may also experience religious obsessions, as well as obsessions over information. good at pattern recognition. they could make great detectives. they obsess over details and are always reading in between the lines.

eighth ruler in fourth gives someone obsession over their domestic lives, their families, their parents, etc. their families could induce paranoia or a feeling of instability. these people overall just tend to be hyperfixated on maintaining their privacy or distance from the public eye.
↳ example: britney spears. eighth house in taurus lorded by a fourth house capricorn venus (which is conjunct south node). the conservatorship. her father owned her estate. she lacked personal autonomy and was imprisoned in her own home by her own family. she has admitted to hating being famous & feeling controlled.
eighth ruler in fifth gives someone obsessions over their children, sex life, romantic life, pleasure, or finances. they could be ill-managed with money or simply enjoy to spend a lot of money on things that bring them joy or pleasure, become extremely enmeshed with their romantic partners, or be extremely possessive or controlling over their children. can be jealous as well. might also be sexually perverse or kinky.
↳ example: beyoncé. eighth house in scorpio lorded by a fifth house leo mars. that lady spent like six bands on sex toys with jay-z. i also don’t think she necessarily is controlling of her children, but she does guard them a lot from public eye. she had a traumatic experience with children (multiple miscarriages), then her rainbow baby (blue) was picked apart by the world. doesn’t help that she’s an 8th house scorpio moon.
eighth ruler in sixth gives someone obsessions over their health, diet, or nutrition. it can also make someone a bit of a workaholic, or someone who is obsessive over hygiene & cleanliness. this is a placement of neat freaks/control freaks, lol. may also be extremely physically active. they can also be celibate or abstinent, obsessive over not having sex.

eighth ruler in seventh gives people obsessions over contracts, business partnerships, paranoia over enemies or being backdoored/betrayed, obsessions over a longterm romantic partner or spouse. they may identify too strongly with the people around them. they may lose themselves a bit in their partnerships. possessiveeee. also can be sexually perverse or kinky.

eighth ruler in eighth gives an obsession with longevity & permanence, but also persistent mental health issues that have long-lasting consequences. they can also be obsessed with the dead, their own deaths, or give obsessions over the occult or taboo. their obsessions can be their own downfall, self-affirming and destructive. overall obsessive people though. anything & anyone they become fixed on, they will never let go. if ever. AT WORST … can be sexually perverse, but in ways that are less about sex and more about controlling someone. (such as… sexual abuse /:)
example: adolf hitler. eighth house in taurus lorded by an eighth house taurus venus. again … i don’t think i need to say anything else. his life was filled with ruthless pursuits of power and control. we know about the holocaust. but did you know he also abused his niece? it presumedly drove her to suicide.
eighth ruler in ninth gives someone an obsession over structural religion. i feel like it can cause religious psychosis for that reason, because their mind becomes fixated on appeasing god (as an institution). they may also be obsessive over higher education. can be politically obsessive as well. enforcing principles or beliefs.
↳ example: kamala harris. eighth house in capricorn lorded by a ninth house aquarius saturn. i’m not sure if this manifests as obsession, but the placement appears (to me) as a drive to politically reform. if she were the president elect, she’d be the second mixed-race black president, the first female president, and the first south asian president. she was the first of all with regards to vice presidency. she is the highest-ranking female official in u.s. history — sounds very aquarius saturn in ninth to me!
also note that the ninth house is the house of the sun’s joy for this reason. when she backtracked on her politics that made her seem “revolutionary/unique”, (re: her stance on trans people, her stance on palestine, etc) it was speculated that it cost her the election. but tbh. i didn’t think she was gonna win anyways just because she’s a woman of color lol. in this political climate? chile… anyways
eighth ruler in tenth gives someone a preoccupation with how they are perceived by the public. these people can be extremely insecure and their insecurities are extremely public. they pick themselves apart, especially by comparing themselves to others. can also give an obsession with legacy, authority, or status. can be domineering. it comes from insecurity either way
↳ example: sza. eighth house in virgo lorded by a tenth house scorpio mercury. she is sensitive to how she is seen, constantly getting cosmetic work, is overtly insecure, controlling of her public image. like remember when those unflattering paparazzi pics posted and she was in that one fan’s dms about taking the pics down? it’s not even that i disagree with her (paps are invasive and weird) but it’s just an example about her obsessive self image.
eighth ruler in eleventh can give obsessions and paranoias over your friend groups, it may be rooted in an insecurity of being betrayed, unaccepted, or rejected. they may feel misunderstood. with the monetary side of the eleventh house, can also manifest in someone overly concerned with wealth and monetary gains. can be extremely consumerist.
↳ example: vincent van gogh. eighth house in aquarius lorded by an eleventh house taurus saturn. he craved a community of artists. he actually tried to make one! which is very taurus saturn in eleventh, isn’t it? unfortunately, i feel like that placement also manifested as feeling rejected by the art community. in life, he suffered tremendously and his fame is almost entirely posthumous.
his fame was attributed to his sister publishing his art after he died: he has a 12th house gemini north node with the ruler of his north node in the 10th house in aries. astrology is so on the nose at times lol.
eighth ruler in twelfth is a placement i notice in people who are obsessed that result in isolating events, such as imprisonment or hospitalization or drug usage. they are obsessed with things that result in them losing themselves (so this is why it often results in some form of addiction, dissociation, or self-undoing). they also can be obsessive over privacy or being inaccessible. going to far lengths to avoid perception. solitude can feel safe. persistent mental health issues though, and they directly affect the body. their minds are like a prison lol.
↳ example: bella hadid. eighth house in aries lorded by a twelfth house leo mars. she is often hospitalized (but i don’t know enough about her to say whether or not this is self-induced; however, 8L in 12H is a chronic disease indicator). she also has struggled with disordered eating and alcohol, as well as the pressure of fame. she now says she focuses on her health (particularly holistic, which i feel like is 12H coded). she also doesn’t really seem to like to be too visible. she’s one of them “esoteric girlblogger” girls lol.

mercury and mars thoughts and opinions are extremely critical or may be criticized. results in a native who is argumentative or opinionated. said opinions may be harsh or uncompromising. they aren’t the type to “agree to disagree.” views are often met with pushback or opposition (even if they’re right lol). their beliefs are reinforced by opposition. may be criticized for cussing, voice can be harsh. if the voice is sweet and soft, they still speak harshly.
venus and mars picky and critical of people (as romantic interests), picky and critical of love itself. their romantic tastes may be criticized or their romantic partners themselves can be highly critical (low-key haters). they may be quick to cut someone off when they got them fucked up, willing to sacrifice everyone’s pleasure or peace if they’re not actually at peace. not really the type to fake the funk if they’re not in a good mood or enjoying themselves. picky and critical over artistic tastes as well: music, movies, etc. similarly may not be willing to agree to disagree or compromise. if the native is a woman, her femininity or womanhood is EXTREMELY criticized.
moon and mars they can be critical of family or emotions or their family is critical of them or people are critical of their emotional expressivity. they can be extremely irritable and easy to provoke, reactive outbursts of anger. mother in particular can be a prominent critic in their lives. will not fake the emotional funk, if they’re not in a good mood they’re not really able to conceal it. emotionally defensive and critical of people who upset them. can and will hold grudges. also tend to be exceptionally self-critical. since probably didn’t grow up in emotionally regulated environments, they tend to not be able to handle others’ emotions well, which may cause them to be critical of others being emotional. but really it’s because they’re not regulated lol.
jupiter and mars critical of people’s beliefs or principles. remember in my jupiter post where i said jupiter and mars creates someone who would fight for their beliefs? yeah, nothing disgusts a (well-placed) jupiter-mars native like an unprincipled person who doesn’t stand on what they believe or act with integrity. in my experience, this aspect produces someone who’d respect someone more for standing on a belief they disagree with than someone who has no backbone or spine at all. they also may be critical of cultural norms and religion.
saturn and mars these people are just . . critical, i fear. 😭 a very tough crowd, and this is largely because saturn’s impartiality. they don’t give a damn. they have a rigid sternness only found in a disappointed parent; similarly, they aren’t willing to bend or compromise for shit. they don’t give a fuck about nothing you talking about. and they tend to be this way because they themselves weren’t really allowed to fuck up as kids. they may have grown up in a home where they had high restrictions and standards and regulations placed on them, and stepping out of line resulted in active & swift consequences. very disciplinary. so it results in an adult who is similar: a very no bullshit people, and also very self-critical (because saturn is “fair” but in such a cruel way at times lol!)
sun and mars they’re critical like a god or king is: many rules in their kingdom lol. they are both the ruler and the army. and don’t forget, the sun also rules your father (in a day chart)! so these are people who can be extremely, “it’s my way or the highway.” they’re often critical of people who don’t fall in line with their expectations lol. and of course, they’re also self-critical. they know that power and influence comes with responsibility, and failure feels exceptionally costly. that’s why they’re so critical of others. sun-mars native may also assume others are as critical about themselves as sun-mars natives are, so they may be critical of people who do not seem to hold themselves to high standards. they may look down on that, as well as looking down on perceived weakness. sun-mars tends to want to be strong 24/7. but this extreme self criticism can result in ego shielding them from admitting faults or wrongs.
General Astro Observations ✴︎ Part 1

Having a planet at 29° degrees (the “anaretic degree”) often brings fated experiences, and a sense of finality and karmic culminations. E.g: If you have Venus at 29° degrees, relationships feel urgent, like they have an expiration date. If Mars is at 29° degrees, reactions can be impulsive and dramatic – this placement may bring an “all or nothing” mindset. Moon trine Neptune (0-5° orb) – This aspect makes someone deeply intuitive, almost psychic, and impressionable in their childhood. Music, movies and art can hit them harder than most people.
Saturn in the 1st/4th/8th house means you may age in reverse. Your childhood tends to be heavy, and adulthood feels oddly easier.
Mercury conjunct Pluto (0-3° orb) natives don’t talk casually. Everything they say is packed with hidden meaning or intent. People feel either deeply understood or deeply exposed by them.
Mars in the 6th house natives burn out really easily. They tend to be more energized by tasks or routine, and get anxious when there is nothing to do.
Venus square Uranus – long term relationships only work if they have freedom and space to breathe. They also tend to not have a certain “type” when looking for romantic partners.
Having Moon in the 2nd house means there is an emotional need for stability. They attach sentimental meaning to objects, like childhood items, jewellery and clothes.
Neptune in the 7th house natives tend to project their ideal partner onto whoever they date. They need their relationship to feel magical and Disney-like.
Jupiter conjunct MC / Jupiter in the 10th house were definitely teacher’s pets 💀 these natives are usually blessed with career luck, and people tend to view them as naturally successful.
Having Sun in the 4th house means that you feel most like yourself in private. Public attention drains you, but at home or with people you trust, you feel comfortable showing your full personality.
Moon opposite Venus natives are often those people who crave affection but when they get too much of it, they feel uncomfortable – and when they get too little, they feel unloved.
Juno in the Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) means acts of service and quality time are your strongest love languages. If your partner keeps showing up, emotionally and practically, you are devoted to them for life.
Moon square Pluto natives cannot have “easy” or peaceful heartbreaks; every emotional experience affects them deeply, like a rebirth.

1. Moon can show something you are always doing or where you always are. Example: Moon 11th house = always online or at a friends house. Moon 3rd house = always talking or in a car. Moon 9th house = always on vacation.
2. As humans we are designed to be attracted to those who look the most healthy. White teeth, smooth skin, fit, healthy hair, strong nails etc. But when Venus or 7th house conjuncts Chiron we are instead attracted to whats damaged. So these placements can lead to instead finding an unhealthy appearance more intriguing.
3. Lilith 1st or 10th can be jealous of women. Wanting to be valued the way women are. Example: Charlie Sheen. I think he is envious of women being seen as ”the price”.
4. I know a guy with Moon in Aries and Venus in Capricorn. He married his Venus. He is a doctor and he married a womans whos also a doctor for the image, very capricorny of him. But he is not faithful bc shes too boring for his Aries Moon.
5. Ive noticed that the years I have had Scorpio Rising in the Solar Return Chart im forced to transform my life. Life puts me in situations where im forced to find a solution. Feels like being in a John Wick movie, obstacle after obstacle.

9. Ive noticed that hetero men with Sun Square Saturn might have a lot to prove to themselves when it comes to other men bc of their father. An absent or critical father. So while other men are out there proving themselves to women the Sun/Saturn men are out there proving themselves to other men instead.
9. Mars Trine Pluto might sound good bc its a trine but Ive seen a lot of violence with this aspect. A lot of them seem to have been victims of some kind of violence or been in a violent environment. Seen a lot of gangmembers with this specific aspect.
10. People with Dejanira(157) conjunct Mars or Pluto do not accept being victimized. But if they are its very likely that they will want revenge. Especially if they have a strong Pluto/Aries energy in their chart.
11. Moon Square Venus can mean that the persons mother was very charming and nice infront of others but had a different personality in the home. For example could have been affectionate with you infront of others but then when you got home she was cold which led to confusion.
12. Ive heard a lot of Venus/Saturn & Venus 10th house men say they prefer older women and are almost only attracted to older women but feel a pressure from society to marry someone younger or the same age.

18. Pluto 10th house needs to be someone of high status. They are very sensitive about status. But they need to be careful with misusing the power they get when they finally reach a high status position. A lot of dictators have this placement.
19. People with squares & oppositions to Jupiter need to be careful not to gamble with life. They have this ”everything will work out in the end” attitude that can make them do risky things. Saturnians tend to be the opposite, they are so afraid of things not working out that they are extremely careful instead.
20. Men with Moon/Mars hard aspects have that hidden resentful towards women vibe that repels most women but attracts women with bad self esteem. I often hear men with this complain about attracting women with no self respect but who else will be drawn to someone who ooze anger towards women and complains about women 24/7 lol.
21. I know of someone whos gotten away completely scot free after doing HORRIBLE things in his youth. Jupiter conjunct North Node in his 12th house. I think Jupiter here protects him from his enemies.
22. Lilith in Taurus or 2nd house might struggle with financial self harm.
23. While Venus/Pluto is linked to being obsessed with love it can also lead to feeling like your romantic side is dead, since Pluto rules death. Same with Venus/Chiron & sometimes Venus/Saturn. Something might have happened early in life that made them ”die” romantically. For example someone hurt them really bad so now they have the ”all men are shit so just marry someone whos rich” or ”all women are bitches so just take a pretty one and marry her”. Could be against the idea of marrying for love.

𓆩♡𓆪 People become obsessed with trying to figure you out. They feel like they can't immediately understand you, so they become obsessed with understanding your identity, and more specifically, your motives. Others could feel like maybe you're always hiding something, and they could be obsessed with figuring out what it is. You also attract secret admirers who project their fears and shame onto you. They can feel small around you and instead of being inspired, they become fixated on pointing out the negative qualities they perceive you to have. Obsession here really feels like it's routed in misperception.
Sun in 8H (Earth sun)
𓆩♡𓆪 People specifically obsess over your game plans. People are always trying to pin you down, because while you're very grounded/rooted as a person you still manage to conceal your true intentions to focus on the bigger picture. This drives people crazy.
