major wins and major messes
hi guys! came on here today for a little diary entry because today was truly a rollercoaster for me. sit tight for the full break down of today HAHAHAH ( •̀ .̫ •́ )✧
bright and early in the morning, i got to school and wasn't able to connect to the campus wifi. usually i wouldn't complain about it since its strength really varies by location BUT THEN
MY LAPTOP COMPLETELY CRASHED O-O
yes indeed this laptop of one year died on me T_T all i did was to press the retry button on the error message my antivirus software gave (because it couldn't connect to the internet)
i restarted the computer so many times and it didn't work, until i resorted to completely reinstalling windows .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·. thank goodness that
after one hour of trying to reinstall windows, the laptop came back to life, albeit wiped of all the apps i had installed
it was able to keep all my files and i wouldn't have to download them all back from my google drive and onedrive *phew*
after that fiasco in the morning, i had a "conflict resolution" workshop, attended by medicine and pharmacy students. my group had to submit a report beforehand, and then was required to send someone up in front of the class for a roleplay which was supposed to include improvements to prevent conflict.
my group was supposed to send a pharmacy student, so my friend and i (we were the only two pharmacy students in the group of 7 lmao) decided i would go for this one, while my friend represented our pharmacy group in another roleplay assignment for our clinical care module. i was so stressed leading up to the workshop, because me being me, i was getting all worried about not doing well.
it then came around to my turn and
I BLANKED
i had expected the standardized patient to act exactly as in the video sent to us (the one that we were supposed to improve upon) but of course, he didn't. (i mean, this is a healthcare course, not an acting class, what was i thinking) LUCKILY, i managed to sort of recover after blanking for about a minute or so. though the conversation was mainly steered by the standardized patient, i somehow managed to keep my composure and do as i usually would *phew*
it then came to the end of my roleplay and I GOT ACTUAL APPLAUSE WOW (in comparison to the courtesy applause uk) my teammates from my pharmacy group who were in the same room were also cheering me on and i'll tell you it felt great (●ˇ∀ˇ●)
it then got even better when the pharmacist attending the session was debriefing us for that scene on behalf of the pharmacy faculty AND SHE SAID SHE COULD ALREADY IMAGINE ME AS A PHARMACIST (p≧w≦q) omg it made my anxiety filled day so much better
in other news today, my dinner looks very sad (pictured above) HAHAHAHAH definitely feeling great today at the end of the day (tbh im still on a high even a lecture later) but my goodness it was such a mess today
to more days with these sort of highs (✿◕‿◕✿) (and hopefully less of the lows ._.)
ヾ( ̄▽ ̄) Bye~Bye~
