I love the challenge of walking out and catching the morning and evening skies with just my phone. But, you have to move quickly, as the colors and light change in split seconds- time is not on your side. Too bad postcards aren't in style anymore- I would use these!
I haven’t been on here in a while. Hope you like these from the early morning of Mother’s Day 2016.

Adam Ant - Goody Two Shoes "Goody Two Shoes" With the heartbreak open So much you can't hide Put on a little makeup, makeup Make sure they get your good side, good side If the words unspoken Get stuck in your throat Send a treasure token, token Write it on a pound note, pound note Goody two, goody two, goody goody two shoes Goody two, goody two, goody goody two shoes Don't drink, don't smoke, what do you do? Don't drink, don't smoke, what do you do? Subtle innuendos follow There must be something inside We don't follow fashion That'd be a joke You know we're going to set them, set them So everyone can take note, take note When they saw you kneeling Crying words that you mean Opening their eyeballs, eyeballs Pretending that you're Al Green, Al Green Goody two, goody two, goody goody two shoes Goody two, goody two, goody goody two shoes Don't drink, don't smoke, what do you do? Echosmith - Cool Kids | Transmitter Live "Cool Kids" She sees them walking in a straight line, that's not really her style. And they all got the same heartbeat, but hers is falling behind. Nothing in this world could ever bring them down. Yeah, they're invincible, and she's just in the background. And she says, "I wish that I could be like the cool kids, 'Cause all the cool kids, they seem to fit in. I wish that I could be like the cool kids, like the cool kids." He sees them talking with a big smile, but they haven't got a clue. Yeah, they're living the good life, can't see what he is going through. They're driving fast cars, but they don't know where they're going. In the fast lane, living life without knowing. And he says, "I wish that I could be like the cool kids, 'Cause all the cool kids, they seem to fit in. I wish that I could be like the cool kids, like the cool kids. I wish that I could be like the cool kids, 'Cause all the cool kids, they seem to get it. I wish that I could be like the cool kids, like the cool kids." And they said, "I wish that I could be like the cool kids, 'Cause all the cool kids, they seem to fit in. I wish that I could be like the cool kids, like the cool kids. I wish that I could be like the cool kids, 'Cause all the cool kids, they seem to fit in. I wish that I could be like the cool kids, like the cool kids. I wish that I could be like the cool kids, 'Cause all the cool kids, they seem to get it. I wish that I could be like the cool kids, like the cool kids." Whoa [3x] Like the cool kids

Lucky in window light, hoping for a drop of a scrap while I make my chili!
A shot this weekend.
"Spinal-Cast" Bokeh lighting cast upon the wall from a kitchen window shade. It reminded me of a spine, then Spinal Tap, hence the name of my picture.

The Dark Side
In my group project- Collaboration, we applied a multitude of processes with our photography. These included composites, Color, Manipulation, Fantasy, and Black & White just to name a few.
The works I created were the dark and hidden aspects of organized religion- a stark contrast that has come to light in recent years of abuses and contradictions to what we have grown to know and experience. Although a bit controversial, I believe that a mere look into the pictures I created can be understood by mere glances, and one may come to the obvious conclusions to their meanings per picture.
Andy and I were sort of in "limbo" if you will. We ended up collaborating between ourselves minus one party of the group. But- life goes on and you plow forward regardless.
We had differing ideas in the beginning, but made compromises to get things off and running. We did hear from the MIA group member- but still nothing was contributed, and we just took the matter into our own discretion. We decided to do a spotlight, so-to-speak, on the church and its influences within our lives and the issues of the day. Tolerance and acceptance were key to my part of the project, the disillusions we experience every time the headlines bring to light of another scandal about one religion or another, or all. We are brought up to believe we need the church and its beliefs and nurturing influences. Tragic, that we see these stereotypes and double standards along with the dark secrecy of horrible acts upon the churches own congregations.
I think that our images put a good idea into play- The Good and The Bad of Religions. It is hard to gauge what your group members are going to do and what the end affect will be. We live complicated lives run by complicated and jumbled schedules with life, family, school and work. What is free time anyways- for homework- right?! I am pleased with our work.
I rather enjoyed the outcome of the critique and the class in general. I will miss all my friends and classmates as we all move forward in our busy lives.
