Norman Bates/Jim Meyers - The Next Morning

Norman woke up the next morning and thought about Jim Meyers, one of their first motel guests that he personally took care of. Mother had been wrong about him…he seemed really nice and kind. He decided that he would go down to the Motel and ask Jim if he wanted a bite to eat for breakfast.

Jim woke up the next morning, Norman seemed like a nice guy just didn’t get out much…a lot like him when he was in the institution. Getting up from bed and dressing he wanted to get back on the road, but he was hungry since he hasn’t eaten much on the first leg of his California journey.

About a half hour later, Norman firmly knocked on the door to Cabin 1. "Jim? It's Norman..."

Emma/Norman: I guess its not going to be okay.

Emma just blinked a few times and opened the door wide enough so he could walk in. “Come in."

"Thank you," Norman said. He paused for a second and walked inside. “Is your dad home?"

"No he just left, hes out getting my medication and some donuts. Would you like something to drink?" Emma walked over to the kitchen which getting out a water and stood there waiting for Normans answer.

"No thanks," Norman answered quickly. He stood awkwardly in the kitchen..

“I…guess I should go inside. Or did you want me to take you home?”

“Only if you want. It’s up to you.” Maureen thought for a moment; before tilting her head. ” - if you want. We could text all night.” she chuckled on how it sounded coming from her lips.

"Ye-yeah, I’d like that," Norman said, sounding more confident this time..

“Alright." she smiled some; before turning to head back down the stairs. " - I can see myself home if you want to go ahead and going in. I’ll text you when I’m home." she nodded.

Norman knew that his Mother would be asking where he’s been. Better hurry up…"Okay. Yeah, text me when you’re home. I want to make sure you’re okay…"

She nodded to him and had made her way back to her house. Her father complained and yelled at her, but it was nothing not normal for her. She had ate her dinner and went to her room; picked her phone up - she smiled and texted Norman.

[TXT] I made it home. How did your mom take you being gone?

[TXT] Things were fine. Surprisingly haha. How is everything at home?

Wait. Wasn't expecting it to be me? I ... well this is awkwardly amusing. (:

It's awkward and amusing. And it makes me...happy.

Okay. You've talked me into it Norman. I think ... I'm falling for you. I just don't know if you even remotely feel the same.

She got up to go to the cabinet to heat her self some ramen.

Emma got up to open the door to see the thing the almost want to make her toss he noodles all over. “Hello Norman.”

“Hi. You weren’t returning my calls so…I just wanted to see you. That’s all…”

Emma just blinked a few times and opened the door wide enough so he could walk in. “Come in."
