Prologue

Once upon a bright night in Dartmoor, a figure emerged from the lake. It hurriedly swam away. Seemingly afraid of what lies underneath the waters. It proceeds to climb to the nearest jetty. Its hand wiped its eyes to rid the gathering mud, revealing a set of green eyes. It ditched a leather piece of armor covering the entirety of its torso, tossing it into the lake. 

"Oi!" A man shouted from a distance to her. "What are you doing there?"

It didn't answer. There was something about the air that made it unable to function. 

The man walked in closer. He pointed his flashlight to it. Revealing the figure to be a woman in a torn medieval dress. 

"Are you alright there?" The man began to be concerned about her condition. A woman, drenched and covered in mud with a slightly destroyed grown, right in the middle of the night. Certainly, something must be going on.

"I-I," She panted. "I have to get," She went forward only to stumble down much to the man's surprise. "out of here." 

She said as she closed her eyes. The stars being the last view as darkness engulfed her vision.
