Hey everyone! For those of you who roleplay on here with me, you’re aware that my life has taken a few rotten turns lately. A work injury has forced me to take it easy until I know whether or not I may need knee surgery. Thankfully I’ll know by the 9th what that outcome will be. So with that said? I need some source of income to help out around the house, since I can’t pay my parents rent (or purchase further art/writing supplies) as I’d planned to do.
I’m working on two ways to do this. The first is what I’ve been advertising here already; my books. The second will be finding a website where I can post my artwork where it can be purchased for prints. The prices for these books won’t be more than a few dollars, the artwork around $35 currently.
Here is an example of some of my work:
All pieces will have my signature on the artwork itself, hidden in the design. Likewise I’ll have my initials hidden somewhere in the piece. All artwork is done with a mechanical pencil, a Pilot V5 Precise Roller Ball pen, and a Sharpie Pen Fine Point. Some pieces will have color done in marker (currently using Crayola Super Tip markers, but hoping to upgrade in the future). I will however likely post a black and white option for every piece before adding a colored choice as well. The colored pieces may or may not be a little bit more since each piece takes me about 3-7 hours depending on what I’m doing. The coloration adds a little bit of time onto that.
As for the books? They can be found on Amazon and Nook. The links for these can be found on this blog on the sidebar at left (just click where the question mark pops up), or on my website (X). I’ll be adding a few more books soon, the third installment of the Blood Born series and a fantasy piece that I’m revisiting from when I was thirteen and first started writing. I’ll post updates on here, and on my website/facebook page when those are available for download.
I hate asking people to help out like this. If it weren’t for the fact my artwork has been keeping me together mentally right now? I wouldn’t even bother. I know how hard it is to scrape money together some times to pay bills. Anything that can be done to help, even just spreading the word? Will mean so much.

Kes sighs as she looks at the stack of paper work she has to get through now. She had only just gotten back to the Normandy less than five minutes beforehand. “You know.. I’m somehow convinced this is Alenko’s fault. I’m sure it isn’t, but it’s just fun watching him get flustered.”
“I think someone deserves a night off.”
” Are you feeling okay? Want me to draw you a bath? “
Kes stretches, trying to ease the ache out of her muscles from that last mission. She’d been warned- and had seen first hand- just how dangerous the Krogan could be. Didn’t mean it still didn’t hurt when she got lifted off her feet and slammed onto the ground by one. Nodding, she offers him a tired smile.
“A bath sounds perfect right now. I’m beginning to think I’m getting too old for this job.” peeling off her thermal shirt, she groans. “Or at least have too many ‘cybernetic’ parts.”
A soft chuckle left the blondes lips in response before leaning in to press a loving kiss against her covered shoulders. “Old? you? perish the thought, darling. If anyone’s old, it’s me.” He smiled. “Still, can I at least be calmed knowing that’ll be the last you decide to think your stronger than an enraged Krogan?”
As much as she loved the feel of his kisses, tonight they hurt like a hot poker on her bruises. Laughing, she reaches up and gently runs her fingers over his cheek. “How are you old exactly? Because from where I’m standing, you’re not.” pressing a kiss to his chin, she rolls her eyes but laughs. “I thought I was doing well when it came to training with Wrex. Apparently I was very, very wrong.”

“Ali…” Kes gives him a very serious look, despite mischievous glint in her eyes. “Haven’t you told me before that my best clothes, is wearing none at all? I think places frown on nudity.” she allows herself to grin, but starts moving for her closet to find one of her better dresses.

Ali merely shook his head and rolled his eyes as the biotic chuckled softly to himself before setting his eye upon his dove. By god did he love her so. After so long together, still she managed to leave him speechless as he sat quietly upon the edge of the bed awaiting for her to be finished.
Opting for a nice forest green dress, she changes right in the closet. Coming back out she does a little turn, lifting up her hair. “I feel like I should do something with this mess.. It needs coloring again, I was thinking something a little wild this time..’ she looks over her shoulder, grinning as the back of her dress is still unzipped.

Well, that was quite the surprise. Not that he was complaining however as the biotic happily leaned into her lips with each little kiss that was planted on his own.
“I missed you to.” He whispered with every little second of breath he could spare before feeling another kiss grace his lips.
Laughing softly, she pulls her mouth from his and just uses him as a full body pillow instead. “Does it help that I’m back? Or should I go again for a little while longer?” she’s teasing of course but she starts to sit up.
