Gabriel sighs, laughing and taking out a cigar from his vest pocket. “Nope. She’s worse.” Where the fuck was his lighter? “Try thinking about a cat five and adding some lighting, rain and a tsunami along with it- did I lose my lighter?” He had it when they left the base.

Fareeha would freeze up and Reinhardt’s slip of the name quickly ducking out from under his arm and taking a couple steps back, shaking her head.

“I think, I’ll be fine, Reinhardt.”

“Maybe it would be best if we didn’t start recalling the golden age.”

His smile faded at her nonverbal decline, and turned to face her accordingly, with a confused look as well. A white brow would raise as it would suddenly hit him. Oh no...

“Fareeha, I am... I am sorry. You know I did not mean-” His palm would connect to his forehead, as he ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. “Forgive me. I did not mean to bring her up. You just look so much like her, and... it slipped out.”

“Thank goodness! I would hate to be the reason for someone not sleeping well. I am glad it is not the case this time!” He smiled and finished his light breakfast and set his dish on the nearby table. “Is there anything I can help you with, Mei?”

          “ Ah, perhaps helping me make some coffee? ”

     As much as she hated the taste of coffee so early in the morning, it was the only thing that helped in waking her up fully. Tea was helpful to a certain extent, but coffee was the only thing that truly worked the best.

          “ I do not know how to work the coffee machine at all. ”

“Of course I can help with that! You are just in luck too, I have made a fresh batch that anyone can have.” He made his way over to the coffee maker, grabbed and extra mug for her, and filled his and hers up. Then he brought both back over, neglecting to ask if she had wanted any additives. He assumes that everyone enjoys it black anyways. “Here you go, darling.”
