amelia and violet were childhood friends but as they grew older amelia started hanging out with studious sims and violet with spooky sims so they drifted apart and now just say a quick hi when they see each other.

Compared to TS3, this is the universe where Vincent Skullfinder drank an youth potion and Cornelia married a guy named Clamp and had Elmira and her sister who were close in age to Agnes. Gunther stayed married to Lolita, and they were Herman Goth's grandparents. Eliza is a Landgraab (Nancy's late in life daughter), Reneé is Holly Alto's daughter, Pablo is the Unborn Baby Keaton, Dr. F and Nova - Finley and Nova Wainwright - are a married couple, Finley and Boyd are brothers.

The MySims universe has a lot of the same families, characters, locations, and pairings as the TS1\TS2\TS3\TS4 universes. MyTown is actually an alternate version of Neighborhood 1\Pleasantwiew\Sunset Valley, the desert being Strangetown\Lucky Palms and the forest being Veronaville. Many of the MySims characters are related to (alternate versions of) the main series premades, and even share the same surnames. Compared to TS3, this is the universe where Vincent Skullfinder drank an youth potion

There's a college campus in the MySims universe called the Royal University. Most Sims attend this college after graduating high school, although a few of them transferred to a different campus. (This ties into some crossover headcanons of mine, so I'll just leave it at that.)

Welcome to The Royal Academy, where 99% of all students succeed in a school where kids are transition to their adult years. The school itself is particularly interesting, having an unique history, unusually bubbly teachers and a diverse range of students. When the next school year fires up and a new superintendent takes rule, things within the school seem to take a turn (magically, mentally and physically). Students are left to question the sanity of the school and what would become of them as they dive deeper into various mysteries, namely a recent murder as well as the supernatural abilities of various kids and adults.

A basic day-to-day school-life RP, while also going into the lives of the students as they explore the many mysteries of the city and more, while also in the midst of a city-wide crime investigation.

I'd like to make a slight change to one of my previous headcanons: ALL of the Sims are autistic. And the Interest system in the first game is actually reflective of the Sims' special interests.

The MySims series has been absent for the past few years. While it seems EA may have retired the series, there was a plan to bring MySims to the Nintendo 3DS. Titled MySims Friends, the game entered development at the end of 2010.  Unlike other games in the series, Friends was to be built around new multiplayer mechanics. This would have included both StreetPass and general online play. However, the game was later cancelled. While trying to renew the larger Sims franchise, EA decided to retire the entire MySims line. Despite being cancelled years ago, these plans and some initial concept art only recently surfaced online.
