Sorry for being inactive!!!

I’ve been dealing with some health issues, i just found out i have Endometriosis (causes me to have severe pain in my pelvic area. But I have a lot more writing to post. I’m gonna try to post one or two a day. I just posted one I wrote a couple years ago that i have never posted (partly due to the endo pain) called “Bipolar vs. The Ocean”

I sit on my porch, looking out at the ocean and I think, The small, almost harmless waves of low tide remind me of when I decline, when the depression hits I'm barely moving, the bare minimum of what I must do, As the ocean recedes to reveal broken seashells and worn down glass, I also withdraw revealing broken skin and bruises The waves during high tide prompt me to recall my sickness, the sickness that lives in my head They rush to the shore as if they're manic; not caring that they will soon after be sucked right back They break and crash on top of each other like when mania turns to violent frustration When the ocean is still it makes me think of when I am calm, when there are no highs,  no lows, just stable

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING⚠️

I want to hurt myself I want to see my blood I want to feel the pain

I want to light my bic for too long and press the metal to my skin, Put out a cigarette on my flesh– Watching the bubble form

I don’t like being like this But I know it’s my fault I know I did this to myself when I picked up the scissors for the first time in grade seven

I’m addicted to he sight of my own blood, To the pain I feel when I drag the silver across my wrists, my thighs, And the sting of alcohol pads that soon follows. Silver and maroon have made their way to the top of my list of favorite colors, I love it more than I love most things

I know it’s sick, Most don’t understand But I’M sick.

I love the finger paintings I create on my limbs

I know I shouldn’t love it but I never loved the right things anyway.

I hate this, I want to rip out my veins, Along with the clumps or hair I tear from my scull, I yearn to blow out my eardrums So I can’t hear it anymore– All the noises All the voices around me, They’re driving me crazy. I have to hide how I feel I can’t cry when I need to I’m holding back tears as I right this, I don’t know what to do anymore, I don’t know anything I hate this, I hate myself, I want to die.

I miss who we were, I miss who we were when we were young in love; we felt infinite. We destroyed each other in beautiful ways. We brought out the worst in each other, but we also brought out the best We were angels and demons, We were light and dark, We were the sun and the moon, We were every opposite right down to our zodiac signs Our eyes dulled just as fast as they sparkled We kissed the scars on each other away, But now I try to remove the skin that you kissed, I try to rid my flesh of any remaining trace of you, And I try to replace your breath in my lungs with smoke

You’re no good for me, You break my heart every time we speak And every time we don’t. Strangers know your name and the color of your eyes, Because no matter how hard I try, the words come out like vomit

‪I thought my flashbacks were gone but now they creep up in the middle of the night like vampires trying to suck the life out of me through my dreams‬. They haunt me like ghosts trying to scare me out of all the good that can come from love. They terrorize me It’s horrible, It’s exhausting.

I’ve swallowed 23 pills and I still feel nothing My heart is a bee hive and lately I don’t feel the stinging anymore They create sweet honey that drips from the valves of my heart It pours out of my mouth and drips down my chin as I try to speak my feelings The bees swarm out of my mouth creating sounds that don’t sound like words, they don’t sound like letters at all. I don’t understand the language the bees in my heart are trying to speak But the buzzing is becoming unbearably loud And I’m drowning in honey

I’m in a haze from the pills I took and all I can think about is you I sit here, my jacket seems to be swaying Is it? Or am I going insane? Your smell comforts me more than my favorite scented candles You taste sweeter than candy

I bet he kisses your cheek and tells you he’d marry you I bet you think of him when you see coffee mugs and hazel eyes I bet he’s so good to you, so good that you couldn’t even imagine someone could be that good But I bet he breaks your heart And no matter how bad it is You still want to talk to him Don’t talk to him Don’t destroy yourself more than he already has You will find someone who is worth it You will find the one who wasn’t close to him
