GENERAL TF5 PSA

With the movie coming out this week here’s some small reminders:

1. TAG. YOUR. FUCKING. SPOILERS.

#spoilers or #tf5 spoilers at the end of your tags takes .5 seconds, SO DO IT. ( Or any combination really ) #transformers 5 spoilers, #transformers spoilers, etc.

Seeing as not everyone will have the opportunity to see early screenings Tuesday, opening night Wednesday, or not even until next weekend PLEASE REMEMBER TO BE CONSIDERATE.

1-B. Tumblr Saviour or New XKit has the blacklist feature. Use it for spoiler tags. People are going to be talking about it on here, so if you’re not going to be able to see it for a few days or a week, it’s up to you to take those precautions. ( If you’re on mobile, my sincerest condolences ) — it’s up to you to gamble logging in tbh. Unless you don’t care if parts are spoiled, live your life my dude.

2. New Movie = New Additions to the Fandom.

We were all newbies at some point just hopping onto the scene filled to the brim with inspiration and creativity. So be patient. Be welcoming.

Think back to your first baby steps here, how intimidating it was, what a relief it was to be with like-minded people because you lacked that support system irl. Be. Fucking. Nice.

Also keep in mind: not everyone who joins is going to be an ~adult~ these movies have a LARGE age demographic. There will be youngsters who are just learning things. And that is A-OKAY!

You don’t have to rp with EVERY new blog, but don’t be an ass either, folks.

3. New Ships Ahoy, Captain!

It’s inevitable. We all know how this goes, so let’s not open up a can of worms that needn’t be opened. Be respectful of other people’s preferences. Don’t like ‘x’ ship for ‘y’ reason? Blacklist it! Boom. Done. Out of sight, out of mind!

3-B. ON THE FLIP SIDE: Tag your ships so people who don’t like it won’t see the content. Consideration is a two way street friends, and it’s easy enough to do! PLUS, it adds your content to the tag for other shippers — WIN, WIN!

MAKE BELIEVE

I like to imagine–     sometimes, in the dead of night     with only the stars left to act as witness I like to imagine a kinder world where we have never learned to swallow blood in our sleep. I know that they say make-believe is a game for children, but darling,                     lover,                             half of my heart,  none of us ever got to be children, really,  so play along with me for a little while. 

I know this world is not here, but maybe it exists somewhere–     somewhere past the last twinkling star     somewhere the moon cannot bear witness and the sun cannot reach     somewhere prayers go to live Maybe it’s real beyond the space between your breath and mine. And in this world, Sunlight is warm and gentle and welcome. There are no broken pieces of ourselves hidden in the shadows that scuttle away from daylight. There are no burial grounds in our chests tucked away like secrets where the sun cannot penetrate. The stars are just merry friends in the night, not a thousand eyes staring into our darkest corners. The wind does not whisper memories too faded to reach. The earth does not tremble with the weight of lives unlived. And in this world, Your fingers and mine fit together like a key in a lock, instead of bullets clicking into place in the chamber of a gun. Purple is the colour of violets, not bruises,     and the only red we know comes from sunrises on mountaintops. Can you imagine it? If you close your eyes and breathe real slow, Can you see it past the nightmares dancing behind your eyelids? Can you hear it beyond the pounding of your heart like a death knell?

                          THE 13TH PRIME - ORIUNTUS

LOG 13.1.c - There has been a mystery shrouding the legend of the last Prime member. While all of the original thirteen eventually disappeared as well, there were physical clues left behind about them, their whereabouts, and other significant details. The Covenant held enough data for us to grasp the concept of just what the Thirteen Primes are and what they stood for. 

However, the Thirteenth Prime came up empty. 

The discovery of his designation was not even inside the Covenant, but rather old desolate ruins that originally held no prior value. I find it odd that such a important shaper of our history has been forgotten. Or…was purposefully erased. The painting above also leads to startling implications of our ancestors. Was there infighting? Betrayal? The cover up and removal of Thirteen is becoming quite a disturbing notion. I don’t know if it will help, but I will travel to the colony of Thirteen - I was able to uncover coordinates. This riddle must be solved, even if it means that everything we knew about our beloved patrons is wrong. I pray to Primus for it not to be so, but… something in my spark tells me otherwise. Please, I entrust this data to you. See that it’s cataloged properly and a copy stored should some deviant try to destroy what we’ve found. Stars guide you and I hope we will see one another again.
