helllooooo! i'm sir zak (main blog @r4spberry-vinaigrette)! just zak / my username is also fine. or really whatever if you're talking to me i'm not picky on names and nicknames. i use it/its and shade/shades/shadeself primarily! i'm 21 and been big into cookie run on and off for quiiite a few years now so. finally making a blog
i don't really have a DNI but i block at will and don't expect me to leave you unblocked if you're big into proshipping or a terf or anything of that ilk. i also probably won't follow back if you're under 16 unless we've had prior interactions but feel free to interact with my posts
that's kind of all the major stuff but feel free to check under the cut for some more fun facts and details!
you can find me on ao3 at redpandablues! i haven't written anything for cookie run but i do plan to when i get my groove back. when i do write stuff, i'll likely link it here
i do have discord but don't like to give it out publicly. if we're mutuals though feel free to ask! otherwise i have no other socials i use regularly outside of here
i'll likely post some general stuff here now and then but mostly this is a cookie run focused blog for my own organizational purposes. for my other fandoms or just to hear me yap about other ponderings check my main blog
i don't have any cookie run characters i particularly dislike! i have ships i'm not fond of but you won't catch me openly bashing on them here or anything, i just block the tags. all that to say feel free to ask me about literally anything pertaining to the game -- at worst you'll mention something i don't care much about and i'll probably look into it for you! benefits us both really
if you're curious though i do have some favorites! you can probably glean an idea through the dividers + my profile theming but:
favorite ships are mysticcacao, pitayasugarberry, licorice/earl grey/black sapphire (my rarepair from hell), pomenchantress, lychee/timekeeper and puredough!
favorite characters are any listed in those ships along with all the beasts (mystic flour in particular), poison mushroom cookie, ice juggler cookie, and abyss monarch cookie! i love a looot of cookies though so again i don't bite if you'd ever like to ask me about a cookie not listed here
tag guide here!

other posts will be tagged with respective characters and/or pairings as relevant

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.
By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.
I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?
it's probably from assholes making asks a minefield of trolling/harassment for years with no real blocking ability, which turned people off from allowing asks on their blogs so as a whole the site moved away from it
but now that we do have better blocking, we should try to revive it.
