Forest scavenging haul

I went outside this morning at 5am to let my cats out. It was calm and peaceful. I could hear a melodic voice chanting in the distance and it was beautiful. There was a moment when it felt like the world stood still just to listen to his voice. The crickets quieted, the birds ceased their song, traffic and airplanes stood still and for a moment the world had stopped.

I couldn't make out what he was saying but realized that it was Ramadan and he must've been doing his morning prayers.

To all my Muslim friends and anyone who observes Ramadan,
