Its a good lesson but its not exactly the situation it should be applied to. Theres absolutely no reason for people to be forgiving of abusers in order to live happy lives. Good message but bad application.

I’ll say it as simple as I can.

If you refuse to forgive Rika and let yourself wallow in hatred for her, you are no better than her wallowing in hatred of her parents. The moral of the story is that the forgiveness ending is the only way to truly be happy the way rika was in the end.
