Hail Skadi. Giantess. Huntress. Daughter of Mountains. Goddess of Winter.
Baldur in the game VS Baldur in most illustrations.
P. S. I based this Baldur on illustrations of: 1913 Gordon Browne in Book of the Sagas by Alice S. Hoffman
The queen of the gods seend out her messenger, to watch over those she wish to see protected and to bring her will to those she wish to know it.

Lokasenna by Lorenz Frølich 1895
"Loki spake: "Remember, Othin, | in olden days That we both our blood have mixed; Then didst thou promise | no ale to pour, Unless it were brought for us both." Othin spake: "Stand forth then, Vithar, | and let the wolf's father Find a seat at our feast" -Lokasenna 9-10

Ullr is comming.
An often forgotten god in the Norse Pantheon. Ullr is associated with skiing, snow, winter the hunt and the althing.
He was likely once one of the most famous and one of the most worshiped gods in Norway and Sweden.
If you sitt down in a car in sweden today and just drive. You will sooner or later find atleast one town or place named after this god.
So this winter, please dont forgett Ullr again, Or do I really have to take you on a swedish roadtrip? haha.
My contribution to Fjord Zine, dedicated to Scandinavian mythology. A verse about the origins of Sif’s golden hair, Mjolnir, Gungnir, and other gods’ treasures.
