I cannot even explain how ANGRY I am at this.

My nephew is very allergic to eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame. Last year my sister discovered all hot dogs and hamburger buns now contain sesame. Not "may contain", but listed in the ingredients. This year basically every brand of sliced bread also now contains sesame, making it very difficult to find bread items he can eat.

They're just adding it to their products, so they can just list it as an ingredient and not bother with worrying about cross contamination. And they aren't even bothering with telling anyone. Capitalism is going to kill us all.

My Carrie & Lowell 10 year anniversary LP set got here today so im gonna gush for a second

I love Sufjan Stevens. Love his music so much

Although his newest album Javelin has mostly been the backbone to Old Soil, I can’t stress enough how important this album is to me and how it informs how I think of and write Logan

I could get into a thousand reasons why, but just looking through the little art book that came with the LP set screams what Logan would’ve wanted. Photographs. Aunts, uncles, grandparents, kids, grandchildren, photo books, and memories. He’s had none of these things for his over 200 years of living.

When he was away at war and someone would get a letter or kiss a worn photo of a loved one, he’d just sink. If a coworker that had to step away because their wife was at the hospital and the baby was coming, he’d feel be happy but jealous. He wants to be in the big family gathering pictures, even if he blinks and looks stupid. He’d want to hold a relative’s baby and 15 years down the line struggle through teaching them to drive or watch them graduate.

He doesn’t just want family. He wants the evidence he existed for good and was loved. More than anything he’d want to die an old man and live on through others. Instead, memories of the entire world seem to live through him for no good reason and he keeps drifting along— Until the X-Men of course, but that was short lived and extremely painful. He got a taste of what he’d been wanting for 200 years only for it to be violently ripped away.

At least he has Wade now, and Laura, and others, but after living as long as he has I’m sure in some ways it feels like it might be overdue and too late. Until Wade snaps him out of it and tells him they have that good life now and they’re late to lunch with Laura.
