Stepping back to reminisce over the charm of his old toyshop, Hank was filled with the warm memories of his time giving children the sense of wonder whenever they played in his toyshop.
But now, the shop was hardly getting any traffic thanks to the town of Amity being the City of Amity Park instead. Kids now were enticed by the new electronics, PDAs and cellphones, and whatnot. Maybe it was time to truly close the toyshop. So, Hank closed the doors and stepped away to make up his mind. However, something gripped Hank by the foot and dragged him through his shop's window, dangling him upside down.
"AIIEE! SOMEONE HELP ME!" Hank knew he was being attacked by a ghost, but he couldn't see it. He swung left and right with no avail. Won't someone help this poor old man?
Danny and Tucker had the whole weekend planned, afterall, they didn't just do a lot of hard work in catching ghosts over the weekdays just to end up catching more ghosts! This was supposed to be a ghost free weekend extravaganza!
Sam though, decided to drag them along for a boring search in the city because she got creeped out by a cat mysteriously leading and disappearing to an old playground where an ongoing investigation for a possible homicide took place.
Turns out, there is in fact a new youngblood in town and a ghost to catch during this weekend.
How will Danny and his crew handle a newly formed youngblood that may not be all of what she seems?
Find out in:
The new young-blood that formed next door

This is one of my first animatics that I made for cZer over on Twitch. He's making a mega build on Hytale! I compiled all of the prank builds he made on Hytale.
Not sure if anyone else has suggested this one yet but...
Danny Phantom AU where some of the myths of cats are actually true. They can communicate with the spirits, ward off evil spirits, and guide ghost children to a more peaceful rest.
All of the cats know Danny, or somewhat know him as human before the accident, the weird shy kid that always had the smell of death on him from living in a house that was a hotspot for experimenting with substances of ghosts.
But then, after that day of the accident, all of the cats are very confused on how they're supposed to deal with this situation. Is he dead? Not dead? Should they bring him to someplace for a final rest? The weirdness of the kid had become 10-fold.
So, some of their reactions range from mysteriously watching him and ominously talking to him via mind, to just harassing him for treats or head pats.
At first Danny is caught off guard about the fact that he can talk to cats as a half-ghost now. But it probably becomes an annoying daily occurrence after about two weeks.
He'll carry extra cat treats in his pockets so he can toss them to the side and make a run for it from the stray cats that harass him for it. And decline any offer to find a "final resting place."
The town people probably think he's a crazy cat lover with how he replies back to a cat every time it meows at him. But they can't argue when solves some of their cat related issues.
"Fluffball has been scratching up all of my couches! What's wrong with him!"
Danny shrugs, "He's been using it to get your attention since you don't respond while you're working."
The veterinarians recognize that when Danny shows up with an injured cat he's already able to tell them what's wrong, almost exactly. They speculate a little bit, wondering if maybe he's interested in volunteering or getting a career as a vet.
But Danny prefers to stay away from that, only gaining a causal relationship with the cats after a few months where everybody is getting used to each other's "schtick." He probably has some normal conversations with them and in rare cases even meet the human owners of the cats.
Like meeting Dash's grandmother, who's the city's most infamous crazy cat lady that takes in all of the stray cats and loves them all very dearly. Danny probably does a few favors for the cats for grandma and in exchange, Dash is reluctant to actually beat Danny up that day.
Additionally,
Sam has a family cat that she constantly asks Danny about what the cat had said whenever they're hanging out at her place. Danny doesn't give her an honest answer because the cat is a bit of an a-hole, and he doesn't want to disappoint Sam that her favorite cat isn't exactly a sweetheart.
(This is a repost of the original community post I made, I do want to add more to this au idea a bit later, something with crows and deer.)
and as the OG poster of the reblogged idea with Danny phantom talking to cats.
I'm now here to add a little bit more to the au idea.
Defining the role of the Cats.
The cats can have many roles, from becoming a familiar to taking on the job of spiritual guide and comforter, warding off evil spirits, to just being the neighborhood cat who witnesses the crimes that no one speaks of.
Going into detail about spiritual guides and witnesses of unmentioned crimes, I've taken inspiration from the general theme of mythologies across different beliefs believing that cat could see spirits and guide spirits to a peaceful rest. As for cats that are witnesses to crimes, such as murders and kidnappings are more just based off of the stories you sometimes hear of an animal companion helping solve a murder case.
Additionally, another source of this inspiration is from a song called, The Cat's Dining Table, from song artist Kikuo.
Where the ghost/spirits of young children all gather around the cat, who sits unbothered, unmoving while the children pet the kitty praising the kitty for being so cuddly and comforting.
This is where the spiritual job aspect of a cat would come into play, many lost children souls who are scared, perhaps alone, finding peace in being with and near the kitty cat. A cat would take this opportunity to find a peaceful place for the children to rest.
Then, we have the witnessing crimes aspect. Some lyrics of the song can be interpreted as the cat questioning as to why none of the adults around seem to die as often as the children? Additionally, it hints to the cat having seen these kids during the moment of murder or right before as they leave from school.
A lot of the crimes around Amity Park, or any city for that matter, could have had a sole witness of a cat, minding their own business in an alleyway before hearing gunshots and scrambling to run from physical danger.
OR
In Amity's case, the death of a living person and the origin of a new ghost. Some of these cats may hold the answers to a few questions that other ghosts may have about their death or how exactly a ghost is formed.
I feel that several cats may have grown a disdain for adult humans from particular crimes they've witnessed to the cries of young ghost children petting them for comfort. Whether they're a house cat or a street cat, they still deeply care.
However, just as our opinions of humanity is varied, so is the cats'. While some cats may have grown a disdain, others may have saw that there are still good humans out there who care. This is where the familiar and warding off evil spirits come into play.
Cats being spiritual guides have also been spiritual protectors against evil spirits. Their presence alone wards an evil ghost from wanting to be in the vicinity. (Imagine how creepers in minecraft react to cats, running away when they get too close.) And possibly for a good portion in ghost hunting history, people have noticed this feature of the cat and adopted methods in which lets the cat's spirit warding abilities to the fullest potential.
Hence witches with their cat familiars. Though of course, much of that belief has died down in modern day Amity Park. BUT do you know who still likes researching some old ghost-related information and occult-like things? Sam Manson.
When she learns that Danny can talk to cats after becoming half-ghost, she gets really excited into what exactly that means and does her research. She learns about how witches used to make familiar bonds with trusted cats and how ghost hunters back in the day used cats to ward off the evil spirits that would plague their towns.
Of course, Sam would want to try this out for herself and attempts to form a familiar bond with her family's house cat. You could say it works, or you could say it fails. I find it funnier if it fails because Sam's family cat is not at all interested in ghost hunting, but it will enjoy eating the cat grass in the garden.
Instead, Sam would have to start hunting for a cat that is willing to form a familiar bond. [This is where any fandom that wants to insert themselves into the picture with one of their cat characters can do so.] But in keeping this "vanilla" what if she teams up with Maddie the cat behind Vlad's back.
Suddenly Vlad's 3 step ahead plan is just 1 step ahead, somehow... Maddie his sweet kitty cat disappears a lot more often now, and reeks of different types of ectoplasm. Where has his precious been to? What kind of hoodlum ghosts is she hanging out with? He must get to the bottom of this!
I realized just how long this post is becoming, so I'm gonna add just one more thing, it'll be short and I can add to more of it later.
The Crows and Ravens.
Keeping to the theme of using a generalization conception of cats over a multitude of mythologies, Crows and Ravens would be messengers, symbols, and fortune-tellers. However, they're also mischievous and love shiny things.
While cats can see the actual spirit (aka the ghost) Crows and Ravens do not. Instead, what they "see" is more of a feel for a force of change. This can be explained in different ways and possibly be a topic for ecto-scientists to be puzzled over.
They're always there to signify an impending death OR a great change in health. They read ecto-signatures like a book. They have no interest in guiding spirits to rest, but they do find it fun when they can play pranks on them.
I could definitely see a crow chilling in an alleyway by itself before it notices Danny running in and "going ghost" before pulling out his thermos, ready to catch a ghost that's been chasing him. The crow watching this transformation would take a liking to Danny because "shiny object." This crow would then proceed to play a various set of pranks.
From stealing Fenton tech with personal belongings and plopping them in a nest to purposely orchestrating a group of their crow buddies to make it look like Danny's got a bad omen over him.
Well, until next time, which will probably be about ghost cats, more on crows and ravens, and possibly deer?

This time on Meet the Cast!
Nika Norson!
She's a college student in her second to last year of college to get her bachelor's degree in physics!
She likes the color purple, space, and churros. She has a part-time job as a lifeguard in the University's public swimming pool to pay off some student loans. (yay! for student loan debt! TvT)
Back at her apartment, she has her best friend Coco Soil, her little turtle shell kitty cat.
And that's it for now!
Until next time! Johnny Gesh!
And I'm starting a little Meet the Cast! Series of images where I'll debut one of the Main Characters for the webcomic my friend and I are creating, The Secret Adventures of the Ninjas! (Or TSAOTN for short).
The first one to go is Spencer Harrington! He has quite the big ego, is a social media influencer, and is son of Alec Harrington, the CEO of Dreamworld (a large movie company in this comic series).
They're cool little guys. In my mind, categorized as little gremlins. (Totally pretending that I didn't obsess over a gnome and spent an entire year making a giant embroidery of it watering sunflowers in a garden.)
Doing the comic series, The Secret Adventures of the Ninjas, will require a lot of city landscape backgrounds. But neither me or my friend, CrustyCrunchy are particularly good at that kind of landscape. So, I decided to do a practice shot.
