Ok, you all need to hear me out.
Imagine a Dean Winchester who's obsessed with food constantly going to diners to get pie and a double bacon slam burger. As we all know he has no time and most nights the energy to make his own food due to always hunting. So, it's only a matter of time before he lands himself at a local place; Dixon's Diner, which is in the middle of nowhere. Like so out there that when Dean and Sam enter, they're greeted by a small group of rednecks. There isn't a single woman in the place, which of course disappoints Dean.
Both Sam and Dean huddle up into the corner, give their order to the most obnoxious douchebag that they've ever met and wait. And holy shit. The second the plate is put in front of Dean he feels as if he’s just found God. Like he’s comically groaning and grunting in between each bite while Sam looks at him with disgust. Like he’s so comically loud that the group of guys at the bar are starting to laugh at him. Sam of course is incredibly embarrassed.
When Dean finally finishes everything, the line cook who made the meal is now also up front quietly watching with amusement before heading back to the grills before Dean can make conversation with him.
Dean of course wants more to take home and goes to the front counter ordering something to go, and even makes sure to tip the cook good. (of course he doesn't know this but Merle Dixon, the cooks brother will end up stealing his money)
And then the Winchester brothers leave, much to Deans dismay to head to their next location. Time skip to a few months maybe years and Dean finds himself in the area again. He goes to stop at the diner to only see that its closed down for good. Apparently, according to a random local after some investigation Merle Dixon got locked up and Daryl, his brother and the cook had to close the place to cover some of the fees. Of course, this didn't do any good as Merles now facing life and possibly the death penalty and Daryl's now jobless off somewhere else.
Dean mourns the place for at least a month before silently forgetting about it. It's not until he finds himself at another diner states away when he has another religious awakening.
This is where he discovers that Daryl Dixon works here, the same Daryl Dixon from the local Dixon diner whose now town hopping from diner to diner. Of course, the two have barely talked, but soon a pattern emerges where Dean continuously tracks Daryl down for his food (much to the man's dismay) and they slowly form a love-hate relationship.
Of course, this can go in two directions, where Dean and Sam are unable to stop a zombie apocalypse from happening or Daryl (the dumbass) somehow accidently finds himself in the middle of a monster hut with the two boys.
All I know is Dean and Daryl will end up having an extremely gay toxic relationship for a long time because toxic masculinity is best friends with the both of them.
Note: OH MY GOD I DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THE ANGEL VEST FOR DARYL AHHH. IMAGINE HOW CONFUSED CAS WOULD BE BY THIS ITEM.
