We were sad to move from Detroit and specifically, SW Detroit, where Mexicantown & @honeybeemkt were in our backyard. But we did it for @the_house_nash_built and don’t regret the amount of small local restaurants we’re discovering. These birria and al pastor tacos from @quepasa_taqueria were delicious but if you’re feeling hangry, get the pizzadilla where this Mexican pizza is stuffed with cheese and your meat or choice between two burrito sized tortillas. It’s so naughty, but especially nice if you squeeze lime on them. I love when my pantry raid includes noodles! Glass noodles, the less popular noodle, made into Pad Woon Sen. This noodle dish isn’t as notorious as pad thai it it’s every bit as delicious & comes together with ingredients you most likely have in your fridge too! Don’t forget the chili oil! Turned 8 months while spending time with Ông nội and Bà nội. We played, learned to crawl and transition from sitting to crawling & vice versa. We are so many new foods from custard cream puffs, @innout burgers & vanilla shakes, to apricots and longan fruit (loves apricot, shakes & custard!).
