A Tribute to Paul Walker
My latest addition to my JP collection. Original 93 merchandise!
What do you think will become of fast and furious?
Tough to say, Anon. But I think we'll see the demo of the current one eventually, to be replaced by a new attraction. Probably another sim or 360:3D type thing...
Hi do you know if it's safe to come back with metro red line at late night?
Hi! Depending on if you know the area week and are with friends or not...personally I don't like being on the train past 9pm. But its all about how comfortable you feel, and being aware of your surroundings. Metro overall is fairly safe, some stations safer than others. I'd say just be super careful!
Other than Jurassic Park, what is your favorite (current) attraction?
Holy crap sorry this reply took so long! Been super busy.Fave current attraction besides JP is Transformers. Tied with Waterworld.
Jurasic Park The Ride: Before and After!
Screw Disney, for a film buff… Universal Studios is the happiest place on Earth!!!
An amazing gif set of some of the best parts of the Studio Tour!

It was a Minion Day at Universal.
The Minions are coming - no denying it!
I've decided that it's time to campaign on behalf of a Hollywood legend to finally make him the royalty he deserves to be. I endorse Bruce to be crowned a Universal Prince.
Show your support for Bruce! Submit a testimonial about the Great White, send your questions for him to us, and keep an eye out for these tags around the internet: #Bruce4UniversalPrince #HollywoodRoyalty #PrinceJaws

Another amazing shot from one of our favorite photographers! Anyone want to get up close to Rexy?

Jurassic Dreams Come True: My Own Universal Experience
I'm so excited and over the moon over what happened to me at the park yesterday regarding JP that I have to share my story with you here.
I went to the park by myself for the first time yesterday before my night class. I arrive around 3ish, walked around the upper lot, took some pictures of the DM construction, and was asked by an employee if I was from IU - that's another story for another thread! After that I went down to the lower lot, rode Transformers and Mummy, and then went over to Jurassic Park to say hi to someone. (Out of personal phobias I can never ride JP by myself.) While there, I was wearing my Park Ranger badge, which I purchased from ebay from an Orlando vendor. When I walked up to the ride to look for the person I was saying hi to, I ran into a manager named Alex, and a lovely show lead whose name I can't remember. They noticed my park ranger badge and asked to take a photo of it, which I agreed to. We talked a minute and I told them how much I love Jurassic Park, and how much I love the ride. They then offered me a quick behind the scenes tour. I couldn't believe my luck, and of course I said yes. They called ahead to the control room to let them know they were bringing in a guest, then the lead led me under the first lift into the employee area with lockers and vending machines. She was so gracious and cheerful, making small talk with me and telling me about the ride. Then I finally got to go into the control room that I have wanted to be in for years. I have a photo - which out of respect for their kindness I will not share online, just in case they can get in trouble for it, even though I had management permission - of me standing at the control board. The three ride controllers in the office were also very, very kind, and had been part of the opening day team I was told. The three of them proceeded to tell me all about the ride system, and show me the systems and the e-stop mechanisms. We swapped a few stories about the ride and being there opening day, and realized that all 5 of us in that room at that moment had crossed paths - kind of - 16 years earlier on opening day. It was a really great moment for me.
As I was leaving, I shook hands with her and with Alex the manager again, and was told to come and say hi anytime, and to ask them if I ever needed anything. I left feeling giddy. One of my childhood dreams was to be in that control room - and I've done it now thanks to the kindness of a manager and show lead who were passionate about their ride. I can't express my thanks to them enough. As we were leaving the show lead told me that she wished she could walk me through the actual ride, but since it was operating she couldn't. She remarked that it was like a different world in there. I couldn't agree more.
Thank you Alex and thank you to the female lead whose name I wish I could recall (I'm so bad with names!). You made my silly little fangirl dreams come true.

I give all the flux.
The newly restored DeLorean from Back to the Future is now on display at Universal Studios Hollywood inside the NBC Universal Experience near Transformers.
Guess what came back in time, guys? The DeLorean has been restored and is back at the Universal Experience next to Transformers the Ride! Check out more photos at www.Facebook.com/InsideUniversal and on the official DeLorean restoration page!
the day before i turned 21.
we got to park at the Jurassic Park structure and i was running around yelling at all the JP references. My last day before i turned 21 i spent it running around inside universal studios hollywood. it was a good day.
Happy belated birthday! And what a great shot of the light display just outside of the Citywalk entrance to Jurassic Parking, a lot of people don't get to see it lit so well because they leave so early!
how often u qo to the park
At least once a month, but most times more! This month I've already been three times, and I was there twice in December. Total, I was in the park about 30 times in 2012. I have tons of photos, but since I help out with a Universal website and have work and school, I can't update as often as I'd like. =(
In memory of Terminator 2: 3D, which has now closed forever at Universal Studios Hollywood as of the first of this year.
This pre-show music track will be very familiar to anyone who waited for the show for any length of time in the past 15 years.
Please do pass this around, we're very proud of this video. And if you want more T2 goodbye coverage, please check out our site at Inside Universal or find us on Facebook!
