Simple ways to work with the sun
💛 Prefer practicing at sunrise. For extra magical intent, wait until the sun is at its peak in the sky.
💛 In the summer months, try to sunbathe every day, even if it's just for a few minutes. It will help you absorb the sun's energy. You'll be able to redirect it in spells or rituals.
💛 Research what kinds of offerings are most appropriate for the sun, and leave them outside for a blessing.
💛 Make sun water by placing jars of water outside at midday.
💛 Wear its colours: any shade of yellow or orange will do.
Created and performed a self-love spell last night with my witch bestie and we really feel different all day like that shit worked. It might be the cayenne and cinnamon i put in that gave it an extra kick. will be posting the spell and how to perform it later on.

How To Perform:
Light candles and the Lavender incense.
Put herbs, spices, and Black Salt into the fireproof dish
Write down on a piece of paper: the energies you're working with and the spell/prayer/petition.
Call upon the energies you're working with
Recite the spell/prayer/petition 3-9 times (or as many times as feel right to you)
Fold the piece of paper, then light it in the candle flame. Put it in the fireproof dish (along with the herbs, spices, and Black Salt) and let it burn to ash.
As it all burns in the fireproof dish, focus your eyes on the flame and your intentions of the spell.

Y’all I’m being so serious when I say this: go to the library for witchcraft reasons.
You can usually find books on witchcraft, yes, but there’s also field guides on local foraging and wildlife, cookbooks, books that teach you how to craft and DIY, books about environmental protection and stewardship, books on how to use herbs medicinally, books about other religions, cultures, and spiritual practices. My favorite local library even has a seed swapping program and fantastic resources to research your own family history!
This is typically made over time and each witch's or practitioner's Black Salt is different and unique.
This is made by putting regular table salt into a container and dumping and mixing in your ashes after you burn incenses, herbs/spices, and other things you may burn while in your spiritual practices or practicing witchcraft.
Black Salt is unique and personal because its based upon the ashes of what YOU burn.
You can also mix in different herbs and spices into your Black Salt.
Black Salt is used for protection, cleansing and banishing negative energies/entities, breaking hexes, defensive magic, and setting/establishing boundaries. I personally also use it to elevate and amplify the energy of my spells.
