Yo I just realised I haven't updated anything here for so fucking long looooooong

Not that there's anyone out there waiting or looking forward to my art but I might post an art dump of all art since the last time I updated here, so if there is by chance anyone out there uhh hope you enjoy that

I recently got a new tablet to do art on and lost all my artwork from my phone but I've been enjoying it so far, it's got me back into drawing somewhat and I've been trying to practice starting new art on the tablet instead of drawing on paper first, I actually haven't used paper for a while 😅

For some reason I want to draw but when it comes to putting pen to paper or finger to phone I just can't

Please hope I get some motivation soon, I want to draw, it's already stopped me doing the Halloween costume drawing and at this point is there any point to finishing it?

I literally have so many characters I could draw and want to draw but my brain just refuses to give me the art juice

It's been a while since I really posted anything, I had been working on a Halloween costumes for OCs drawing but I gave up so that's probably gonna be late.

It still doesn't feel much like Halloween despite what date the calendar says, but it hasn't been so bad, the decorations may have been ruined, the spirit may not be really there, and I might not have had any chance at all to dress up, but we've been doing a little cake icing and today we carved pumpkins!

I usually carve pumpkins a few days before Halloween but we didn't have that chance this year, but they still turned out great. Iade it much more difficult on myself than I needed to but I'm proud of the result so here it is:

There was an unnecessary level of skinning but I think it worked out for the better. This is the Pokémon Ultra Moon symbol along with Full moon Lunala, sorry Sword and Shield I've only played the sun and moon/ultra sun and moon games

And as for the cakes:

My girlfriend and I made a shared effort to create these masterpieces. I'm very happy about the red star-in-a-circle one, and I managed to make parts look like candles too

One more RWBY OC that I've drawn, never underestimate my ability to create an OC out of nothing

It's not coloured yet but this is so far my pièce de résistance, I'll reblog when I eventually get around to finishing it, I really tried with this and I hope that shows

This is Lethy and Gunner, a couple that became a thing after I was randomising on Monster girl maker, an app I use to mock up the designs for my OCs and inevitably create new ones, I adjusted it to the point I ended up with Lethy and made Gunner to go with her. Lethy is a rabbit faunus and her name is a play on the word Lettuce among other things, Gunner is a trans male and they've been together since before they transitioned (and an FYI Gunner is the most beautiful goddamn man I have ever fricking drawn and the more I look at his gorgeous face the more I fall in love with his design). While their true references are rather questionable (involving things like drugs and such) I still love them as a couple and their design, plus this drawing in particular, make me happy even if I haven't fleshed out their characters too much

Well I finally did it, I finished the lineart about 6 months ago and I've even changed phones since, I just never got around to colouring it in but now, now I have finally done so

I do have to say I'm kinda proud of this piece still, I know there's a lot I could improve, shading being a big thing (Yeah I didn't even try to share Gunners hair, I'm tired and this has already taken me two days to get through... Well 6 months and 2 days technically)

I was hoping colouring this would get me back into doing digital art, I suppose I'm definitely curious about getting back into it I've just been enjoying drawing on paper and improving myself there too much

Also have some random rainbow edits of this because I got bored at some point and did this for no reason

So we got a mechanical pencil a little while ago and I just used it for the first time and holy shit I love using it. The lines are so clear and crisp.

Here are some doodles from me trying it out:

First here's Jenilda as a young human, this was my second attempt, she's very sketchy because I wasn't very confident yet and I could have tried harder overall but the ruffles looks real nice, as does the hair

Second we have an OC you haven't seen before, this is Corazon, she's a vampire and a bitch, and this doodle is TINY finger for scale but ignore my absolute lack of nails, yet I still managed to put a teeny little heart in her eye. Despite the absolute miniscule size she looks very good and this was me definitely trying... Even if it is small, the lines are rather crisp

And Third we have Lethy, and this one I'm so proud of, she turned out so well, and she was about between the size of Jen and Cora. Don't ask about why her hoodie apparently belongs to a giant because I just drew it very big and baggy because that's the peak comfy hoodie. I'm very happy about this one.

I'm definitely using this more often, and hopefully I can avoid accidentally doing miniature doodles

If I didn't know who this was I'd be slightly offended at the shut the fuck up bitch 😂 but thank you "anon", don't get mad at me for being harsh on myself, I know my art can be improved but there are times I am actually proud of some of the art and doodles I draw, I need a lot of practice but I can already see some improvement in both my ability to draw and my ability to use a reference while drawing, at an earlier stage in my attempt at art I struggled to focus on a reference and draw at the same time. I also need to draw more, I have a list of things I want to draw and either lack the motivation to tackle it or lack the inspiration to get round to it

Oh boy the late night art spirit is back. These doodles from today aren't all that good but I did something, it's hard to draw when people keep asking you to do things

The top one is Melinda after she passed out from sheer exhaustion, she has insomnia so she finds it hard to sleep but when her body eventually gives in it's not uncommon to find her asleep at a desk, usually someone will cover her with a blanket. Her hair is likely longer than what I drew but I can't draw hair like that idk what you want from me 😂 though I have to say it does kinda look nice

The bottom one is Pixie trying to wrangle her wildly long hair, I tried something new with her clothes too, they'd probably be pretty torn because of her wild ways. If you couldn't tell I wasn't in the mood to draw eyes so I just didn't...

I personally love the Bat'leth and Mek'leth (last) drawings, those weapons are so interesting to me and so are weapons in general
