I’m gonna be honest, I’m getting kinda tired of the “Y/N” vids on SAMS and LAES. It was fine at first, but just the amount of them. Every so often is one thing, but we’ve had at least 3 Y/N videos this week alone on LAES, two of them back to back.

Please know that I don’t write this out of anger towards the VAs/writers. I completely understand they’re only doing what the company is telling them, so if you’re also upset over this, don’t take it out on anyone who works on the shows, please. <3

Shadow Mel:

•Exists purely for sleep

•Appears if someone is not maintaining a sleep schedule, or if someone is purposefully choosing to stay up

•Is lenient towards insomniacs

Shadow Rosie:

•Exists to improve creativity

•Appears if someone is doubting their own creative abilities or putting their talents down in any way/shape/form

•Is lenient towards novices of their craft (and offers extra encouragement)

Shadow DJ:

•Exists to support individuality

•Appears if someone is trying to change parts of themselves to appease others

Shadow Claudia:

•Exists to promote personal growth

•Appears if someone is making poor financial decisions or is making impulsive decisions

Shadow TJ:

•Exists to merely be a supportive companion

•Appears at random with other shadow council members, but can also appear individually if someone is having a bad day

•Is the most lenient shadow council member

Shadow Lady: 

•Exists to portray Newton's Laws of the Cat; for example: trapping someone in lap jail, pushing things off of desks, singing the song of her people during inconvenient times;

•Shadow Lady is just a typical cat, and we love her for it

Shadow Lily:

•Exists to oversee the council

•Appears in both serious form or silly form, depending on circumstance

•Does not matter how lenient she is, or that she exists to oversee the council; the council still affects her when necessary

The only shadows not seen here on the page is the silly version of Shadow Lily, and my own Shadow 💜
