Vanessa sat there and listened to her best friend gush about her old relationship turning into something new and amazing and perfect, even though they weren’t “dating” yet. “Ash, breathe. We aren’t even officially together yet…” she said raising her eyebrows. “But yes you will be the maid of honor” she said giggling and grabbing Ashleys hands as she thought about it. “Bitch, you need to get a man”

Ashley giggled, then let out yet another sigh. "I know. I haven't even had a crush in a while now. I'm too focused on trying to make it in the industry. If love happens for me, great. If not, I guess I'm okay with that, too. But finding someone WOULD be nice, I'm ready to go on double dates with you and Zac!"

Vanessa took a deep breath and got serious then wiggled her eyebrows and bit her bottom lip nodding up, “That was his face…” she said smirking. She looked back on last night and giggled “Well he ran to me all the way from the beach, nearly died in the hallway, and then grabbed me and kissed me before even saying hi” she said smiling big.

Ashley sighed again. "That is so romantic, V. Seriously. He would do anything for you. You're so lucky. Unlike Austin, I can tell he definitely wants  to commit, even if he is a goofball sometimes. I'm totally going to be your maid of honor at the wedding when it happens, right?" She squealed before even letting her friend answer. "I can't wait!"

"I honestly think that if he ever had the opportunity....he would take.it in a heart beat" Vanessa said laughing. She shook her head and rolled her eyes "Ugh....we're friends with a complete weirdo....a very horny weirdo" she said giggling and licking her lips. "I told him, if anything ever happened with Ash and I, you would neevvveer find out"

"I would've loved to see the expression on his face for that one!" Ashley, said, still laughing. "He is a horny weirdo, yet we love him anyway! I also would've loved to see the expression on his face when you said you chose him.. I know he must've been so happy. It's so great to see you in such a great mood. I know the pizza and alcohol only helped so much last night."

Vanessa watched her friends and made a puppy dog face, “You will…you’re gorgeous and damn sexy” she said snapping her fingers then giggling. “You wanna know what Zac asked me?” she questioned out of shock. “He asked me if you and I have ever had a….moment…” she said putting air quotations over the word moment. 

"That doesn't surprise me." Ashley continued, slightly rolling her eyes. "He keeps bringing up wanting to do things with us," she continued, copying Vanessa's gesture and putting quotation marks around the word 'things.' "I love him, but he's such a dork," she finished, bursting into laughter.

Vanessa laughed and sat on her bed crossing her legs and grabbing the end of her jacket by her wrist and putting it up on her mouth. “It was beautiful. I honestly….I never stopped loving Zac, and Austin wasn’t committed to me…and he was scared of the future” she said shrugging. The blonde placed a strand of hair behind her ear and giggled. 

Vanessa's laughter was contagious, and Ashley giggled with her, ecstatic that her friend was so happy. "Sounds to me like you made the right decision, then. I've really always felt that you two were meant to be. It's nice seeing two of the people I care most about so happy. I hope I find someone who makes me that happy someday," she sighed wistfully.

Vanessa heard the panic knock on her door and she got up from her bed quickly and ran to the door opening it to see Ashley. She smiled and welcomed her in moving aside. “Woooooah, someone had way too much coffee this morning?” Vanessa said laughing as Ashley asked her a bunch of different questions. “Well…I chose Zac….and Austin got pissed, but then Zac came to my room and we went down to the beach and a had a picnic” she said blushing.

"Ooooh," Ashley gushed, punching her friend playfully in the arm. "That sounds so romantic. I'm sure you feel bad for hurting Austin, but I could always tell that you weren't quite over Zac, and it was obvious that he was still crazy about you, too. I would've supported whatever you decided. You know that, right? You deserve to be happy."

Ashley rushed to Vanessa's door, knocking on it violently. Vanessa opened the door quickly, grinning from ear to ear. Ashley smiled back, happy to see the look on her friends face considering the drama she knew had resulted last night. "Someone seems to be in a good mood this morning," Ashley stated as Vanessa let her in the room. "I stopped by to check on you. I take it everything is alright now. What happened last night after I left Did I miss anything?"

That's hilarious! I've thought about auditioning for American Idol so many times, but I'm terrified I'd make a fool of myself.

I can only imagine. But if I ever order and see one that I think screams "L TOM" I'll totally let you know. And ignore the lame nickname, they were never exactly my forte.
