really random but i'm reading midnights and it's amazing but i specifically wanted to say i love how you write all the strawhats and their little interactions amongst themselves and with zoro/sanji it's so fun!

thank you so so much for saying that! it's the first fic i've ever posted on ao3 and the first time i tried writing zosan so it makes me really happy to know you liked it.

i love the interactions between the strawhats in the fics i read too. i think one of the most meaningful themes in one piece is their found family, so i wanted to add that to my work too.

I haven't done a zosan fic rec on here before, but I read this fic last night and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. It's one of the best explorations I've seen an author give of Zoro's emotional depth in what seemed on the surface to be a fairly by-the-numbers "Zoro/Sanji situationship drama while Sanji Finds Himself" fic. Like, I genuinely teared up during a few different parts because you could just feel how badly Zoro was hurt by the whole situation and i don't know, I feel like a lot of authors in this particular subgenre of zosan fic just don't care about Zoro's thoughts and feelings outside of being either an emotionless sex object or a validation machine for Sanji's sexuality crisis.

If you're a zosan fan, especially if you're a big Zoro fan, I highly recommend giving it a read.
