I finished my last Mermay on the last day of May!!

Eventually imma finish my other ones in progress (maybe I’ll post up the lineart or the character sheets 🤔) but I’m glad so many people liked these!! It’s always so interesting seeing my growth throughout the years cause the difference between 2023 and current days pieces go crazy

Forgot to post last week due to prep hell before another market 💦

I had a lotta fun with this piece! It was definitely touch and go initially cause I was scared about the proportions being off, but I’m proud of the turnout 🙂‍↕️ I’m hoping I can have my 3rd piece done but I kind of have a bunch of irons in the fire and trying not to get burned so we’ll see🤷🏽‍♀️

Around september (at THE worst con I ever attended) I realized I could actually redesign the monster high crew.

It's so funny cause a lot of me drawing fanart is just me coming to the realization that i can?? Like I can fr just draw my faves.

Anyways I finished photocards for Cleo, Nefera, Frankie, and Draculaura. I wanted to fit Clawdeen in there too but my schedule wouldn't allow at the time. She's roughed out though! Just not digitally

Ending this month with the start to my next project: some monster high tings👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Ofc i love MH and ive always wanted to take a crack at my interpretations of the main ghouls (and then some) I do wanna try mixing elements from the different generations along with my own takes and hopefully y’all will like em! I did finish these twos pieces because i wanted to sell them as photocards ✨ whenever i booth i like to offer them as a freebie and maybe eventually i’ll sell/pack them with online orders if i ever do anything adjacent to the series 🫣

Almost there! Ive gotten so into Jujutsu Kaisen this year, it’s not even funny. I wish i had more time to read the manga but I’ll take what i can get 👏🏽 i drew left right man Yuji and also Blackfire!

Definitely two different genres but i have too many interests 😭 i feel like with hers I definitely broke my own rules and almost finished hers but i was too locked in ngl.

I kinda wanna do more projects with her and im kinda headcanoning her solar power works different from Starfires and instead of warm light like hers maybe it’s green?? I could always go down the blue flame route but something about the green blue and orange in her piece 👀💕

I was obsessed with Ojamajo Doremi and Kamichama Karin when i was younger. The latter was my introduction into manga and getting into those youtube episode hunts (like “ep 3 part 1/3” type stuff 😂)

With Doremi I was kinda torn cause I definitely wanted to draw all the girls but i wasnt sure about it with my time management 💦 i HAVE drawn Doremi, Aiko, and Hazuki years ago in a similar format and wanted to continue with Hana

Sorry I’d been swamped with prep work this month for goblin market and forgot to post last week 😭

But for 3/4 i did link and zelda from totk and team 7 for naruto! The latters kind of a throwback/tie in to last years illustration since i did one for last arc/shippuden era team 7. The original plan last year was to do all 30 days and some duo/trio pieces were concepted but i felt like it was better to work on things bit by bit rather than stress myself out doing things all at once

Imma be real Descendants 4 made me so mad just with the writing; I don’t wanna hear “well it’s meant for kids-“ kid me would’ve been confused too.

But as always I loved the outfit design, music and concepts they’ve developed. And they brought back Brandy!!! Can’t go wrong there.
