Some more ocs headcanons (or facts bc they’re ocs)
Holly isn’t actually that good of a kid, but shes been taught that she’ll be forgiven for anything she does. So even if she does something “bad,” she’ll see it as good or even as helping somebody find themselves, when she really needs to find herself.
Holly’s a very forceful person, who tries to insert herself in other people’s lives, looking for problems to solve because all she wants to help. When really, nobody likes her for it (other than Penny, but she actually helped her.) Ruby is the only one close enough to her to actually tell her the truth, yet she doesn’t.
Holly’s expression is a bit unsettling, the other kids say. Her bangs cover her eyebrows which makes it a bit difficult to tell her expression, or how she even feels in the moment. That plus the fact she’s always smiling, gives the others more of a reason to avoid her.
Holly’s favorite holiday, other than Christmas and Easter, is actually Thanksgiving! It gives her an excuse to spend time around people which is all she ever wants.
Holly’s song(s) are: Life is Fun (TheOdd1sOut, Boyinaband), The Best Day Ever (SpongeBob SquarePants) and Sunny (Boney. M), which is actually the song for my one of my other ocs, Matilda.
Holly’s favorite season is spring, she’s a very outdoorsy girl and loves gardening with her father! And is very close with Emmy as they both share an interest in gardening and plant life!
Holly doesn’t necessarily hate, more-so dislike. But the only exception to that is Cindy, she doesn’t see why Cindy enjoys tormenting kids and constantly tries to make her see what she does is wrong, but Cindy doesn’t hear it.
Holly can sometimes go into a state of possessiveness, anxiety and hostility. It’s very rare, and only happens when she’s truly stressed or upset. For example, when she gets her black eye in KG2. She feels betrayed by Penny as she doesn’t know why her friend would do such a thing, not knowing that Penny’s chip was frying in the process.
In the future, Holly becomes a bit of a hoarder. It’s not something major for the point where the government gets involved, but it’s to a point where if anybody visits her, it’s apparent.
Holly’s birthday is on April 1st, ????. All day, her father calls her “His April Fool.” But it’s meant to be in an endearing way? When the other kids found out, they’d call her a fool as well. Not meant in an endearing way. It hurt a bit at first, but she’s gotten over it. It’s not like she can’t change her birthday.
Holly has showing signs of OCD, specifically intrusive OCD. She uses her need for everybody’s happiness as a reliever for her violent tendencies. She gets it from her mother, as her mother would usually avoid her. Unless it was for Holly to do tasks for her, and she wanted them done right.
Her favorite fast food place is Jollibees ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
Holly’s biggest fear(s) are being alone, and dying. They both connect together as she knows if she dies, she’ll be alone, and if she’s alone, it’ll probably be because she’s dead.
(ENDING FACT) Holly has a tooth gap! She tries to get it fixed in her early years, but learns to embrace it and still have it as she grows.
Ruby has anger management issues, as well as cyclothymia. She goes to therapy once, sometimes twice a week. It’s the only place where she feels safe, away from the constant act and distress she gets from school.
Ruby is the only one who’s close enough with Holly, other than Penny and Emmy who could tell her about her… problem. But she chooses not to, she thinks maybe Holly will change her on own. But really, if she can’t, why would Holly?
Ruby’s favorite fast food place is Chick-fil-A, although she doesn’t eat out enough to make an actual opinion, she’s eaten there more than other places.
Ruby’s birthday is February 13th, just before Valentine’s Day, and during BHM. (Black History Month.)
Ruby’s favorite holiday is April Fool’s. A, because it’s Holly’s birthday. And B, because it’s Holly’s birthday, so she can play twice as many pranks on her. As a birthday present.
Ruby’s biggest fear is the ocean, which is unfortunate for her because everyone in her family loves the oceans, and they have annual beach trips. Although, she never goes in the water.
Ruby has a pet ferret, her name is Mrs. Daisy. Holly really likes her, and Mrs. Daisy likes Holly. But let’s not talk about Mr. Daisy!
Ruby’s song(s) are Oh No! (Marina and The Diamonds), I’m Gonna Win (Rob Cantor), and Top of My School (Katherine Lynn-Rose.)
Ruby is almost a perfectionist, ALMOST. Sometimes she’s very competitive, other times she couldn’t care less. But she’s more competitive than careless, it’s irritating for her.
Ruby is a very blunt girl, she’ll say what’s on her mind. But sometimes she doesn’t understand how someone else might feel because of that, she’s trying to become more sympathetic. But she can’t help but let something slip once in a while.
(ENDING FACT): Ruby runs away from home at some point, but gets ratted out by Holly after she goes by her to stay undercover. She and Holly go silent for a year, no communication whatsoever.
Holly becomes a musician, a bass guitarist. While Ruby becomes an artist, a cartoonist.
Holly goes to speaks a bit of Spanish, but she’s only 5! You can’t really expect her to know it all. While Ruby goes to Polish school every Saturday, she almost enjoys as much as her therapist because she can be a normal kid there. And of course, she has a British accent, just like her mother.
Holly has a bit of a lisp, it’s not a problem, but Ruby can’t help but notice it and mock Holly every once in a while.
They so WOULD have some secret friend language that is just random sounds so nobody else could understand them.
Ruby is in the smart class, Holly’s in the regular class.
Neither of them have missions in KG2, but Ruby has a mission in KG3 called “Butterflies and Moths.” Where Kidd (the player) tries to help Ruby impress Emmy with some knowledge on plant life, so maybe they can go on a “date” together. There’s only one ending, but there’s multiple ways to fail the mission. For example, leaving Ruby to the blue flowers to try and impress Emmy during class time, so Emmy wouldn’t be there to tell you that the blue flowers are poisonous, Ruby picking them up and then dying of poison.
Sometimes, when they’re in high school, Holly and Penny go on double dates with Ruby and Emmy, and they’re actual dates too.
Both Ruby and Holly’s name end with Y, and well as their partners’ names.
If they were in Mean Girls, Ruby would be Regina, and Holly would be Gretchen.
