I've been replying a lot about hazbin hotel lately because I'm a habitual yapper but I just want to get my thoughts out on the show real quick

Hell and Heaven don't really have designs that interest me nor do I like to look at them. The animation and voice acting are very good though I'm just not a fan of the art itself, but that's outshined by the previously mentioned pros. The premise isn't that bad, like honestly I'm hooked on the show. I probably wouldn't rewatch it but it has a discernible plot at least, something over it's sister series which I dropped. As for the characters, I'm pretty much rooting for none of them except 3 people. Like

Alastor is a fraudulent sellout enslaving hypocrite, he is NOT tough

Vox is a cowardly loser, he is NOT tough

Velvette has no life she's literally dead

Swat Val with a 3-inch sole boot KILL HIM

The angels are all morons except Speaker of God (my only fave in the entire hellaverse)

Charlie. Chuck. Sis gets on my nerves bro she's like Marinette always doing something goofy and knuckleheaded when you could actually use your power (so can your lazy dad) to improve Hell. You don't have to kill the Vees, but take away their power! Stop the turf wars or restrict them to promote your ideals of sinners being able to be redeemed. Listen to your freaking girlfriend even though you don't have ears

Angel Dust, Husk, and Nifty are the only ones that don't consistently irritate me. I don't like how the show treats its queer rep, it feels fetishist to me especially knowing the background of the producers, and it can't decide whether SA is bad, hot, or funny (IT'S BAD!!!) yet it's like it wants us to hold all three opinions at once. And somehow, the fans do, they pick and choose when to take it seriously or they just don't at all and it's disgusting. Radiostatic shippers (the show panders to them fsr) slobbering over the episode centered on the ONLY aroace guy getting SA'd just because he rudely said no to a friendship some years ago, and people are treating Al like he deserved it (the assault) when he's never done anything like that to anyone! He just murdered and ate people like let's keep things matching at least. Then there's people sympathizing with Val or shipping him with Angel Dust, like horrible bruh it's horrible.

On the other side, or maybe the same side, you have people nitpicking every single mundane thing Viv does to death instead of her actual personal flaws and overall just being toxic, making criticisms that are answered by the show or just simply aren't even problems ("Adam doesn't act like he does in the Bible so this makes no sense").

And for some reason fans and the official twitter have a tendency to overhype stuff and go "Charlie looks like she's about to GO OFF! 👹" to some average stuff from the series and I just get a kick out of it every time, let them keep doing that

I really wished people didn't lose their minds over this show, it is honestly the most unserious cartoon I've ever watched in the 2020s and for all its flaws it'll never be as bad as the Fandom itself (haters included)
