Hate the sin, not the sinner.
وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِي إِلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
grateful to be born a HSP, but also painful, to feel like you’re made of glass all the time. need a lot of space and time to heal.
please allow me, thank you.
And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak.
(4:28 Quran)
No energy left.
Unfortunately, sometimes this tongue has no energy left to explain things to people who have no intention of seeking clarity or understanding. They impose their own narrative on you while you are struggling with an entirely different battle.
You try to explain, but they silence you — speaking as if their version is the only truth, refusing to acknowledge the validity of someone else’s pain. Eventually, you stop explaining because you realise it does not matter to them.
You believe that leaving arguments will earn you a house in Paradise, so you choose silence — trusting that a higher wisdom will carry you through this adversity.
People who truly care about you will ask, why? They will ask about your intentions rather than judge you solely by your actions. They will ask gently, with mercy, rather than assuming the worst. People who truly care about you will not leave you bleeding alone and ignore your pain. And I thank Allah for all the ones He has sent to help.
Some days, this soul cannot help but wonder — what is Islam, truly? Instead of extending a hand or listening with compassion, insults were given instead.
Yet through all this chaos, my mother’s duʿāʾ continues to carry me.
Alhamdulillah, Allah knows. And what Allah knows is enough. ❤️🩹
وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا
And speak to people in the best manner.
Surat al-Baqarah 2:83
Early 2018, Allah took them before this dirty soul could visit them. Alhamdulillah alaa kulli haal.

Yahya Ibn Abi Kathir رحمه الله said:
It used to be said,
People have never honoured themselves with anything better than the obedience of Allah and they have never dishonoured themselves with anything worse than disobedience to Allāh.
[Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā,Muḥāsabatu Al-Nafs]
Thirty four calamities the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ would seek refuge from. The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: “O’ Allāh I seek refuge in You from 1.Helplessness [in performing good deeds],
Laziness, lethargy,
Cowardice,
Miserliness,
Senility,
Hard heartedness,
Heedlessness,
Deprivation,
Disgrace
Destitution. [O’ Allāh] I seek refuge in You from
Poverty,
Disbelief,
Polytheism
Dissoluteness,
Dissension,
Hypocrisy,
Repute,
Ostentation [O’ Allāh] I seek refuge in You from
Deafness,
Being mute,
Insanity,
Leprosy,
Vitiligo
From any severe ailments. [O’ Allāh] I seek refuge in You
Burden of being heavily in debt,
From being overpowered by men. [O’ Allāh] I seek refuge in You
Against the declining of Your Favours,
The passing of safety,
The suddenness of Your punishment
And all that which causes Your wrath. [O’ Allāh] I seek refuge in You
From the anguish of severe calamities, 32 The lowest depths of misery,
The evil of what is [divinely] decreed and
The gloating of enemies.”
If you allow it, the Qur’an will flow on your tongue, reside in your mind, dwell in your heart and become your constant loyal companion.

Everyday is a beginning
and remember your Lord deep within your soul, with humility and awe, quietly, softly, in the mornings and evenings, and do not be of the negligent
7:205
“Studies have shown that spending time outdoors increases our expressions of kindness and generosity. It also improves learning, memory, attention, creativity, and reduces anxiety. It literally heals us: patients who can look out a window at trees require less pain medication, and post-operative recovery is faster.”

A Ted Talk by an environmentalist and cognitive psychologist, in which she describes her experiences travelling in the woods for six months and relying on foraged food. She discusses the lessons she has applied from this to her urban life, and touches on some of the ways both we, and the natural environment, would benefit from a closer, more positively reciprocal relationship.
