Did she look familiar to the recently-upgraded-to-MkII 1/5th of the new charter known as 1010? A little. She wasn't as extravagant as the on-stage version of NSR's first artist... but there couldn't be many people with the two-toned skin colour this very wet woman had.

Besides, he'd offer to walk a hapless citizen to their destination whether they were a potential colleague or not. That was just the common sense of an android programmed to be good to those around them (especially women).

she didn’t want to turn her nose up at him because of something so nitpicky and miniscule, but the word “darling”... made her feel some sort of way. could have been that she was just oversensitive, though. nadia knew herself well enough to understand the lack of sense her own thoughts made sometimes. for now, she’d decided to chalk it up to him being “gentlemanly” or something. they were still strangers, after all.

“ oh, okay. thanks. “ her voice had fallen unintentionally flat as she shifted the bag that held her artwork. if anything, the paintings needed to stay dry much more than she did. if not, she’d be out a couple thousand bucks. that, and she’d have a lot of explaining to do to the art dealer. just thinking about that theoretical interaction made her feel ill.

nadia felt her gaze tilt forward towards dream fever, and with it went her footsteps. she still felt the guy there next to her, but what should she do ? they hardly knew each other, and striking up a conversation wasn’t her strong suit. a chill went up her spine and would have frozen her into place if she wasn’t en route to dream fever.

ideally, she’ll let them know before they start dating.

nadia isn’t the type to date around or have flings with people. romantic attraction isn’t ever at the forefront of her mind, and since she can get platonic and romantic feelings confused anyways, she’d prefer to stay out of the dating scene.

therefore, unless she knew for certain that she loved her significant other, she probably wouldn’t be dating them. but if they are dating, she says it often. easily within a week of the relationship becoming official (though there’s obviously a lot there before that too.)

it was just like her to not check the weather before heading to the gallery. nadia at least had enough sense to carry her most recent works in a protective plastic case, but the same couldn’t be said for herself. aside from her oilskin coat, she had no protection from the downpour terrorizing the metro division’s streets.

that was, until she felt a dark shadow suddenly loom over her. wide eyes made note of the fellow passerby, a robot guy with blue hair. in fact, he kind of looked like a performer. was he one of the guys tatiana had told her about, one of the new charters ?

“ oh, uh... thanks. “ she blinked, but eventually shuffled beneath the umbrella. maybe she’d save her questions for later.

confetti cake !! she likes the taste of vanilla, but she wants that extra bit of color too. she’s not picky either -- box cake mix and bakery stuff is all the same to her, cake is cake. as long as she can eat it while she does art, she’s good.

sprinkles are also a must. and sweet vanilla icing.

nadia likes both. she doesn’t have any pets because she’s not a fan of fur on her clothes, but she does enjoy petting dogs and cats whenever she sees them. feels nice.

that being said, she’s also a stray cat magnet. she doesn’t actually know why or how, but the cats love her. she’s even had to invest in a lint roller because of how much cat hair is on her jeans after a walk in the park.

He came here because he enjoyed a lot of the art he saw here. Sure he didn’t really get it on a deeper level or whatever. But the place was filled with so many colors and odd shapes that he couldn’t help but be drawn in.

nadia blinks at the sudden voice. as her mind recovered from quickly going blank, she realized she’d been talking to herself again. and this time, it was in public.

cool. okay. this is fine, this is fine. just play it off like you’re not embarrassed as all hell.

“ oh, uh -- “ she swung her head around to look at her conversational partner. cyan eyes locked on him, but didn’t seem to make proper contact. “ you did ? white paint ? uh... can you tell me -- do you -- do you remember what room ? “

her cheeks began to show off some added pinkness with the awkward nature of her reply. nailed it.

It wasn’t untypical of young people to come and take a look, especially considering how restrictive things got on the surface… Curious young adults looking for a new stomping ground. Most people came by through Aunty’s recommendation on the surface.

Since no other clubs wanted to play Rock through their speakers, the few patrons there seemed worlds different from the districts above, opting for the faded denims of grunge or the dark streaks of metal.

“Long day? Real happy that ya decided t’stop by all the way down here, though.”

nadia was constantly learning new things about herself. for one, she had no clue what any of these beers were. and what was an ipa ? she inferred it meant ‘indie’ but for booze. who the hell knew though, she was a martini kind of girl. didn’t hurt to branch out though.

“ let’s see, uh... “ in the end, nadia just chose the name that appealed to her most. “ i’ll take a stringheart, if that’s cool. thanks. “
