Dit oudje zit me in de gaten te houden terwijl ik bezig ben met mijn nieuwe werken. Misschien verdient ze toch een lijst. Een van de laatste werken die ik met acrylverf heb gemaakt. Ik hou eigenlijk helemaal niet van blauw, maar als ik schilder kom ik wel degelijk bijna altijd bij blauw terecht. Moody blues State of creativity: either genius or disastrous. Ik heb al mooie plannen voor een mooie(zeer donkere) serie werken over de periode waar ik nu in zit. Mooi fantaseren over werk exposeren in een fictieve gallerie. Alle muren van top tot teen ondergekalkt. Ik kon haar niet uitstaan. Na twee weken haar vervloekt te hebben heb ik besloten dit gevoel te volgen. Het volledige gezicht krijgt een black out. En vanaf daar zie ik wel weer verder. I think i am being watched... Practising nude colors and making them into little paintings. This will be part of a triptych in 1 frame. I have been amazed this week by some lovely gestures from people, known and unknown. Don't really now how, why or what for.. but it really shows that the world and the people in it can be kind. Learn from your Masters. Just drawing a few of these in a week. I set no goal for me to reach in a week or month. Though i find it hard not to do. But i often can't reach my goals, cause i make too many impossible ones... i try to just be content while drawing(or painting). Just looking and trying to concentrate on each stroke i set on paper. Trying to learn by doing it. I always had the idea that copying is bad, that not working from a reference(either real life or photographs) is better. But if you have no understanding of how things look, no understanding of dimensions, your work will always stay flat. Or at least i think it works that way for me. 2017.. bergen, dalen en flink wat zweven door donkere wolken. Helaas geen kunst om te laten zien in het laatste weekend. Dit is een foto gemaakt ter referentie voor 1 van mijn nieuwe schilderijen.
