Everyone is actually SO DUMB AND ONE-SIDED. These celebrity liberals enjoy including their work with politics, and still believe in almost everything we believe. But you have to remember these people have careers and they need to do anything they can to expand it. Inviting a conservative personality to share your spotlight or giving a gift to someone that you don't see eye to eye with is a pure act of courtesy and a stealthy way to expand your popularity. We can't forget that the show hosts have their very own career and dreams to live up to, and nothing they ever do has to always please the political side they affirm. Being kind and open-minded is what's needed to treat anyone in the professional business, and everyone seemed to have forgotten that.

Queer is the word I use to describe myself. It’s my identity word and important to me a source of strength/pride/what have you. I do not use it for anyone who does not use it for themselves, and tagging my own posts in which I talk about myself in a positive way as “q-slur” is not something I am willing to do, because it undermines the unapologetic “this is who I am; I have history, community, and precedent”.

If you’re really not okay with seeing the word at all, there are browser extensions like Ponify you can use that allow you to replace any word with any other… you could change it to “quirky” or “queasy” or “qualitative analysis” or, simply, “q-slur”. That protects you on your end and allows me to use my word on mine. If that also doesn’t work for you, I only use the word occasionally, but it may not be a good idea to follow me.
