Ava! No! Please! I know the world is hard and unforgiving. And I know that Warrior Nuns die. Please donât leave me. I donât want you to die. (insp)
ava + her gay little hat - part I
first kisses:Â (8/?) ava & beatrice (warrior nun)
ava + being wet
- They can't beat us, Bea. Not together. - I know that.
Another day with Avatrice ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
god knows i live god knows i died god knows i begged, borrowed and cried [insp]
ava + shotgun
The seduction of Avatrice is that there was no seduction. It was all completely artless. There was no turning up the charm, no conscious flirting, no interaction started between them with the express intention âI want to make you fall in love with me.â If anything, once there was a realization of feelings they held themselves back from letting it show (for various reasons), and anything romantic that mightâve come out slipped through, it was never intended. They fell in love anyway.
(and by 'girls' she means one girl)

Because the Halo is sentient, and because Beatrice understands Morse Code, sometimes the Halo talks to her when Avaâs fast asleep.
The first night Ava comes back, the Halo blinks âshe heard youâ before adding a âat the portalâ.
Oftentimes, it tells her about Avaâs day. A she missed you here, and a she wasnât okay there. Once, it exhausted itself just to spell out she didnât mean to yell at you and she really is sorry.
Sometimes, Beatrice talks to it, too. She whispers things she didnât have the courage to say out loud during the day, opting to confess them in the Haloâs divine warmth. âThank you,â she says one night, stroking Avaâs hair. âFor keeping her safe.â
Once, when Avaâs recovering in Jillianâs med bay after a serious injury, the Halo glows weakly, in front of everyone. Itâs stuck on one word, â-... . .-â. Jillian asks if the Haloâs malfunctioning, the OCS answer in unison no.
At Beatrice and Avaâs wedding, the Halo signals I do in time to Avaâs answer. (It signals out other phrases during their consummation, but Beatrice canât really see them, not when Ava hovers above her, dark eyes staring into her soul.)
And when theyâre expecting their first child, the Halo does something completely new and unexpected: it turns a soft shade of pink for them, before going back to its normal golden hue and blinking âcongratsâ.
It is my job to see you through this. Just your job? Well⊠and my pleasure.
You donât have to be so perfect all the time
