viktorgoth:
“Well, perhaps this SOMEONE is just too wealthy for his own good, and would like to share his wealthy with a pretty lady.” Viktor replied with a soft chuckle, resting his elbows on the table and locking his fingers together. “To be fair, I drink this much quite regularly, so while it is a bit irresponsible of me to do so, it is was I’m accustomed too, now. Why? You wouldn’t happen to be concerned for my well-being, would you?” He teased with a grin spreading across his features. He identified her as Kala, but knew not too much about her. He’d, of course, seen her around, though, and he was admittedly intrigued. A devious glint of pure victory was evident on his features as he watched her take the available seat beside him, and took the drink he’d so generously offered her. As she did so, she had more questions. “Of course, did you think I drive myself anywhere?” He demanded playfully offended. “He better be for the amount I’m paying him.”
The brunette took advantage of the situation to relax and let lose a little, for it was equally good and needed to escape at least briefly from the sameness of her days. A change, after all, from time to time was always welcome, however small it was. So, as she played absentmindedly with the almost empty glass, she considered him, her lips curling upwards with the question made. ‘ — Why? Would it be so wrong of me if I were? ’ She returned the question, the sweetest, shortest smile making itself notice. Another sip of her drink and the glass was empty. It was inevitable to show a mixture of amusemente and disbelief at his answer, given so naturally. Such luxuries were not something known to her, she’d never had them in her entire life and, to know someone who actually possessed them was something rather interesting. ‘ — That’s a little weird; but also it’s kind of cool, I can’t deny it. It must be awesome to have someone driving you around anywhere, at whatever hour. ’ She offered him a quick laugh and, eyeing him once more, she went on. ‘ — This is all very nice, but there’s something missing. I don’t think we’ve been introduced properly; if you insist on buying me those drinks, the least I can do it’s tell you my name. So, I’m Kala. And you are Viktor, right? ’ She pronounced his name playfully, but the question was merely to keep things going, for she knew very well that he was, indeed, Viktor.
