One of the best shot of Total Solar Eclipse from 08-04-2024.

No it's not. This is AI.

If it helps, here's why it's recognizable:
Those lines coming off the sun behind the moon are supposed to be the plasma illuminating its magnetic field and while a magnetic field isn't perfectly symmetrical it does follow a torroidal logic:
but AI doesn't know that or understand the anatomy of t and so you can see the poles are lopsided and the arcs or 'wings' disentigrate into random swoops. If the sun's magnetic field was that destabilized we'd all be in considerable danger, but probably already dust idk.
additionally while this aspect of the eclipse was visible in 2017 and the eclipse prior, I have not personally seen any shots from the 2024 ecliipse that show it in as much detail- it's dependent on the exact distances and therefore relative sizes of the moon and earth. IIt's only visible if the moon can completely block the sun, leaving no ring bc the sun's corona is so bright you can't see the illuminated magnetic field and a ring of fire at the same time,
the sparkles on the edge are what happens just before or right after totality when the moon continues to shft and full light from the sun starts to peek through
it wouldn't happen on all sides at the same time. That would just be an even ring. You'd only see it on one side, like this:
also an eclipse viewed in the sky (with hills and trees visible to scale) would NOT be that big. Neither the sun or the moon look that large when viewed unassisted from earth.
To your last point, it is possible to make the eclipse look that big if the hills are far away and the sun is on the horizon like this
No, it is only possible for the setting/rising sun or moon to look that large, due to the lensing effect of the atmosphere at that angle.
Since a solar eclipse is a syzygy of the sun and moon during a new moon phase it only EVER happens midday, well overhead, meaning the enlarging effect of the horizon is not possible.
Eclipses never look that big ever. You have to zoom in on them with powerful telescopes at which point you wouldn’t see foliage and the landscape.
Hey btw, here's a piece of life advice:
If you know what you'd have to do to solve a problem, but you just don't want to do it, your main problem isn't the problem itself. Your problem is figuring out how to get yourself to do the solution.
If your problem is not eating enough vegetables, the problem you should be solving is "how do I make vegetables stop being yucky". If your problem is not getting enough exercise, the problem you should be solving is "how do I make exercise stop sucking ass". You're not supposed to just be doing things that are awful and suck all the time forever, you're supposed to figure out how to make it stop being so awful all the time.
I used to hate wearing sunscreen because it's sticky and slimy and disgusting and it feels bad and it smells bad, so I neglected to wear it even if I needed to. Then I found one that isn't like that, and doesn't smell and feel gross. Problem solved.
There is no correct way to live that's just supposed to suck and feel bad all the time. You're allowed to figure out how to make it not suck so bad.
A brief moment of rationality from the bird place.

“it’s going to be WW3!!” no bitch it’s going to be vietnam, korea, afghanistan, it’s going to be another war wherein the US commits unspeakable and indefensible acts against a severely weakened people seeking self determination. it’s going to be another war where protesting is criminalized and “freedom of speech” is gutted in the interest of pushing propaganda. it’s going to be another nation of people added to the long list of victims of US imperialism and another demonstration of the strong undercurrent of fascism running through the foundation of america
