It's then where Rachelle turns around to face him. The sun peaks through just enough where it makes his eyes glisten, and Rachelle stares at him with a small snicker. "At least you admit it." He's soft with him, softer as a person, Rachelle would admit to himself. They're both similar in the way that they're gigantic brats, but there is something about both of them that can be humanized especially if there's no cameras or threats or an audience waiting to see what's going on behind closed doors. Rachelle's not used to slowness or relaxation, not when most of her life is gogogo. There's a sigh of tiredness that comes with her hand resting on his cheek, her long nails gently scratching along his skull as she threads through his hair. "Do you want to go exploring while I rest?" Voice murmured and above a whisper, long lashes slowly blinking. "I don't want to keep you from having fun." Rachelle feels like he's far away even when right there, her baggy clothes taking up way too much space but makes her look smaller somehow. More harmless alongside of a bare face. "The whole being dead and can't go out in the day thing isn't for cowards and I'm still trying to not get annoyed at that detail."

rachelle loves to be admired. loves being called beautiful or pretty or just showered with compliments. despite appreciating her body and knowing that she is attractive, she likes when it's real and not artificial or used to take advantage.

Granted, the little ramble about Blenders was probably not the best thing to do, but when talking about technology, he couldn’t help but mention them. For some reason, they were by far the most interesting to him. “A can opener?” he snorted, but also didn’t take her remark or her laughter as offense. He could see why this was sounding ridiculous to her, and it wasn’t the first time he received a reaction like that to his love for blenders. “No, I think microwaves are a close second after Blenders and then tablets. I love tablets.” Armand stiffened his body at the jolting stop. He pressed one hand on his chest and gasped out loud. “Hell.” He turned his head to face her profile. “If you stop like that with a mortal next to you, you will kill them. I think I broke a rib.” No, he didn’t.

“Wait, you were turned in the eighties?” Armand didn’t just sound shocked, he was. She was quite young then compared to him. A fledgling. That’s how Armand saw her now, and it explained her reckless behavior. Oh great. And no maker to teach her. That was not good. One of his hands traced through his dark curls before he looked at the purse in his lap. Carefully, he opened it, and his long fingers roamed around a bit.

“Your purse is messier than Lestat’s. I didn’t know this was possible. Is that an eighties band thing?” It really took him a bit until he found the garage opener in the purse. “Found it. But I agree with you on the planet thing. They could use their technology to save the planet, but…well…It’s not convenient, I guess. Are you still involved in the music industry, though?”

The wind finds itself weaving through strands of curls as she continues to drive. Rachelle listens to Armand speak, her fingers continuing to drum against the steering wheel before there was an ever so slight change in the way he was talking. It wasn't major; but it was enough that makes Rachelle slightly more irritated than previously when he was on her ass about something else. Her age doesn't change how much work she's put into her job, nor does it change her danger level. Not having a maker was the better option in the grand scheme of things, because his own legacy is the most important thing, not following in some conman's footsteps.

Rachelle's head immediately snaps over to Armand with furrowed brows. "Don't make me regret telling you how old I am if you're going to switch up on me. You put yourself in my car, not the other way around." She snatches the garage door opener from his hand and shoves it into the front pocket of her leather jacket. Rachelle didn't mean to be snippy but there was no taking it back, but she clears her throat a moment later.

"I am a celebrity fashion designer." She says now, moving onto the highway and relaxing back in the driver's seat. She doesn't say it like she's bragging, just that she's telling another story to go along with the last one. "I mostly do red carpets and private parties, but it's managed to get me in pretty high places." Theres a beat. "What do you do when you're not stalking people?"

Rachelle is a night-goer, so she can't be out and about anyway at this hour. "At least spoon me so I can watch too if you're going to be doing the most over there." She murmurs, shifting herself back under the covers.

Rachelle shrugs her shoulders, a humorless laugh being pushed through as throws down her bag on the couch. "I happen to fall in love nightly, so what you do does not concern me." She doesn't actually, she's just promiscuous and loves a good night out with strangers. Falling in love is something Rachelle also doesn't do. A hypocrite at his finest. "So does that mean you're not coming?" Her back straightens then, brows furrowing. "Is that what you're telling me?"
